Sir first thing you do sir make sure yung fuel nyo malinis not contaminated ng coolant at water, and check nyo ang filter baka restricted na sya ng dirt or coolant and check your air system, at okay ang lahat Ganon padin, try to re timing your injection pump if Ganon pa din my leak ang combustion chamber mo, that's a big problem sir. Good luck and thank you for being fans.

Advance or delay sa fuel timing sir it cause ng smoke din, dapat balance ang mixture ng air and fuel. Another cause of white smoke or blue smoke? *too much lubrication oil *misfiring or running rough *wrong fuel injection timing *worn valve guide or ring piston *failure of turbocharger oil seal.
That guy sure knows what he is doing with that old B model cat, I sure with that had been in English. I would have liked to be able to understand what he was saying. It was still a very good video. I love the older cat engines.
One problem picture is reversed. First thing he did was clean around where tool goes in to remove pump bushing and put 8H9204 felt washer in to help keep debris out. I would have just pulled all pumps out cleaned them up and put 1313719 seals on them. Check pumps and see if they needed to be lapped. Also I would have pulled plugs out back side and put updated seals. As you can tell pump is off a later engine or a reman as it has a eight bolt VTU. Also has a LI Jake switch. I use a fabricated tool and lift pump off pump bonnets. Helps keep pump straight. Cylinder pack box shows that engine is a 3ZJ or a PEEC engine that has been deleted to a manual pump. Need to use lock nuts that hold pump to front plate, just a nut can work loose. I use exhaust nuts as they have a shoulder made on them. As you can see he used a lock washer on the nut. Lock washers can break and then fall out and you have a loose nut. He then showed parts on the governor, FRC, fuel shut off and LI Jake switch. Also FTP on the bottom. Which if you rebuild the FTP, you can add a spring and get 10 psi more FTP psi. Also fuel return line fitting is a number four. I like a number six as a number four can collapse, have to update fitting in pump and tank. Pump fitting has a orifice so you have FTP psi. He puts oil on the gear, don't know why. As once VTU is installed and torqued, it's all locked together. Putting VTU on best way is get a long bolt and cut the head off. Put it in pump then slide VTU over the stud and it will line up. No need for alignment tool. Never reuse 3/8 VTU bolts. Have seen them break, get new. Now I can see VTU it is a eight bolt and a four bolt. Narrows down what engine this is. Once he put VTU on he did not push carrier back and make sure it was seated. Also thread lock is not needed on threads. He never checked his pin timing after VTU was installed. Right now I do not know if static timing is correct. Air compressor idler gear at the end. I put back cover on before I install the pump. He has stub shaft in and it will have to come back out to align it with studs mounted in hsg. That is what I can make out watching his video. Hope it helps.
Took me a few pictures of yours to realize that the picture is reversed! Because I see that the fuel system was on the wrong side, wow!! Yes, everything was reversed, once that, good video! But all your videos are shown backwards, if you could fix that it would be great!
Hi, I enjoyed your videos. I have a 1994 Peterbilt 379 with a 3406 B. Truck was running good until the turbo went out. Unfortunately the mechanic that was working on it miss diagnose the problem. The truck had lost power and was smoking real bad,,real bad. He replace all 6 fuel injectors then had me rebuild the fuel injector pump then he realized it was the turbo. After he put everything together the truck sounded like it was on steroids and still was smoking a little bit. I took it to another mechanic to check the timing and supposedly was out 2 teeth. But every time it went up a hill loaded it was lacking power. starting from the bottom off the hill it will only go to 35 or 40 max loaded 72,000 total weight. If it was driving at 65 and hit a hill it will go down to 40's. Engine sounds weak too. Any advice to what to work on. I am from Chicago west suburbs and is hard to find a mechanic that knows how to work on this older engines. Thanks Roy
A lotof causes why the 3406B is being weak during loaded. 1 Check all your intake hoses and your inter cooler charger maybe there's have small leaks during the engine is RPM, need to pressure your inter cooler. 2 your air filter is clogged! 3 make sure the valve adjustment is correct. =follow the 1&2 before you jump at #3 I'm 100% sure 1&2 is that the main problem, 15PSI required to test your air to air cooler
Salamat kabayan,, pinapanood ko yong mga video mo,, at na subscribe narin kita. Dipa kc ako nakapag adjust ng ganyang msy jakob brake, yong 3306 lang na luma na nagawa ko, thanks ulit,

Can u tell me how the ring gear 1w5429 work, since is a free ring gear without any attachments to the fuel pump advance timing thanks you
I don't know what is the 1w5429? About 3406B CAT I'm not recommended you make advanced timing just follow the standard timing.

Boss para sakin around 6k to 13k pero dipende parin sayo yan boss. Dahil ikaw ang gagawa.
@@MachineHealer bos yong kumatsu loader at caterpillar loader magkaiba ba ang timing sa injection pump
Boss kung same engine parihas lang po. Pero Alam ko ang mga 2008 pataas na model ng mga Komatsu my own engine na. Yan lang po pg kakaalam ko.
Sir bagong calibrated injection pump bago plunger ayaw umandar ginawa kona ang timing
