Everytime I do a suspension setup like this I always end up with what I can only describe as Helicopter shocks. I tried doing what you did, but got the same result. It looks awesome and compact so I hope I can get it figured out sometime so I can make a more functional offroad vehicle.
Yeah most setups you need to add more bearings. Checkout my offroad suspension, it works best on a 6x6. My workshop is also in the description. th-cam.com/video/0vbVPOtApXo/w-d-xo.html
Every of the 4 double wishbones you put have a suspension glitch. This is because the suspension needs to be able to move on any axis to remove the suspension glitch. there are multiple ways to do this but i suggest you look on the workshop on how to do it or join the scrap mechanic technical community (SMTC). There are lots of people there that can help with that. including myself.
The front and rear suspension are exactly the same, just do not install the 2 steering bearings. See the bearings at 5:01, do not install them. just use the pipe pieces. th-cam.com/video/KCh7AAeKNoI/w-d-xo.html
Possibly controlling the wrong bearing, is it the upper control arm position lock bearing? Besides the control arm and steering bearings the rest should be free spinning. I wish I could see it in action, I hope you find a solution soon 😀
When I originally made it several patches ago, there was no lag or suspension glitch. I'd say take what works and what you like and make your own Beast!
Is this working in survival? This was easily the best suspension video I've seen. However, I followed the steps but my rig keeps collapsing after I remove the lift. The trigger/controller works fine but the build seems to be broken. My welds are tight btw.
Oh, wow. This is like the suspension I've been using. But more compact. And with slightly better height variance.
It is one of my favorites! too bad most of them cause suspension glitches.
@@DANgaming808 Yeah, that's what I was confused about when I made the smaller version. I have a great big battle truck that doesn't do it.
@@JustIn-sr1xe sweet! Send a link to the build

Aloha! Mahalo for the tutorial. Former Wainiha Kauai resident. 🤙🏼
Gotta spread the aloha! I grew up on the big island. 😀
could you make a tutorial on how to make this car exactly from the start to the end?
the fact that scrap mechanic is in hawaii is just amazing
Heck yeah!
I have never seen a cool looking car in scrap mechanic
@emilwill3583 thank you!
i wished you have done the full vehicle. Now i got to figure out how to complete the front.
copy the right one with reversed bearing config, remove steering bearings on back
That car looks thicc
She's got a thicc rear end 😀
thank you man in my opinion the best suspension in the game🤙
I hope SM updates didn't break it 😀
This is a great setup and it helps a lot thx
Glad I could help or inspire!
i build a quad with your tut. thx! it workes exelend!
I'm glad the old ways still work in scrap mechanic!
Happy offroading!

@spacewalk3046 thank you!
When I made the car 3+ years ago it worked great, I'm sure some SM updates have broken it.
It still looks cool though!
@@DANgaming808 ye i just got this video on my feed, but no actually the suspension glitch was always there, u can see it in the video as well
@spacewalk3046 I never noticed while driving it, but yes I can definitely see it now looking back. Good eyes!
@@DANgaming808 no problem
Ready for more.
What kind of content would you recommend?
can you please show how you made the back suspension

Great suspension 👍
Thank you Bro!
dan gaming... why does that remind me of another youtuber that plays scrapmechanic??
It might be my original personal channel
@@DANgaming808 hmmm
@@kitenofs2259 that's the best idea I've got 😀
Who does it remind you of? Definitely not Scrapman, I'm not cool enough. 😒

hmm my bearing don't rotate anymore after connected to the controller...

Looks awesome but there is too many bearings
yeah one of the limitations of Scrap Mechanic
Works like a charm! Well done!
great idea to make 60 bearings on one creation, it shreds fps

@@DANgaming808 well it isnt that bad, also it doesnt make suspension glitch for me
why not show the front part build?
Thank you!
Do anyone has a materials list?
Yeah how to make the back wheels
you do the same thing but without the bearing to turne
Very nice
thank you bro!
Clean! very clean.
Thank you homie!
This type is known as double wich bone
DOUBLE WISHBONE
im just correcting you not being rude :)
Ok you need to turn up the volume on Your mic and turn down the volume on the music and get a better mic
Doesn't work as a suspension any more only height adjusting works
i'm sorry snoop, the game updates make it less stable each patch.
@@DANgaming808 not your fault but please put [outdated] in the title and make a new design
@@snoopdogg9490 thanks for the suggestion, forgot I could do that.
I just made it and both the bearings and suspension seem to work? am I crazy?
