The notes in this fragrance are:
"Interpretation of “Mriga” instead of deer musk accord from the original replaced with Deer musk pod from Mongolia. Not only is it the natural deer musk that's different from the original formula but this limited edition version includes precious wild oud from Myitkyinam, Myanmar, along with Yuzu oil, Chota Raw absolute and Clary sage absolute. The result: Mongolian Mriga is raw and wild. This is limited release contains a rare Wild Burmese oud which is no longer available"

It is earthy and intense. But I don't get the natural oud.
I think it's nasty. The regular Mriga is a better more balanced composition.
I have many Bortnikoff ouds. So I know the good quality cheesy ouds. I don't get that in Mongolian.

Oud smells so differently depending on the kind and where it's sourced from, and he tends to use pretty different kinds from Bortnikoff so that might be why. I personally like the kinds Prin usually uses better than Bortnikoff (though I like Bortnikoff too!) but fragrance works so differently for everyone, I love that there's so much different stuff out there.

You’re ignorant if u think Bortnikoff uses any decent amount of Oud. He barely puts any Oud in his fragrances anymore. It’s been years since Bortnikoff has released anything good. And he reformulated and ruined all of his releases and raised prices. There is such a small trace amount of actual Oud in any of Bortnikoff’s perfumes that you can’t even smell it. He boasts to include all kinds of Oud in his collections but he’s lying. There is only tiny traces.
I have lost all respect for Bortnikoff. He’s sold out like the others. IF i buy any more bortnikoff perfumes, it’s only the old wood cap vintage releases from years ago. Nothing released in past 8 yrs . All garbage.
