Cerave Renewing Night Cream is also fantastic and super budget friendly. I saw it on The Budget Dermatologist video recommending dupes as well. She also recommended the SkinFix cream. Great video! The Cerave gives that occlusive feeling you mentioned and I use it at night on top of my retinoid. Excellent results 🎉❤
Thank you! So helpful! It's not a great time for me to be spending $150 on moisturizer so I really appreciate this and am gonna try the smaller size of the Sunday Riley Ice.
I am also going for the Sunday Riley Ice after 2 decades of being a Skinceuticals 2:4:2 JUNKIE. I have a huge drop in income and I thank you for showing me ALL these great options because I have been trying to find a replacement for a year, and NOTHING COMPARES! I will come back here again and let you know how it’s going!!!
I love how detailed you are, I don’t have any questions 😂 A MUA I follow on IG mentioned a moisturizer she enjoys using in her personal life is that Sunday Riley ICE moisturizer. I have never tried any of these and the Skinceuticals is outside my price range so really appreciate these alternatives/dupes ❤
I just got my Dr. Brenner's triple lipid dupe last night. It is almost identical in fluidity and moisturization. It does not have ALL of the same ingredients but I wore it overnight. I actually put my Rohtos Vitamin C on first, then the Dr. Brenner's on one side of my face and the La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream on the other. La Roche and Skin Ceuticals are both owned by L'Oreal. I woke up with my skin lighter ( less red), plump and moisturized looking but not greasy. Last night I put both on two parts of my hand. The Dr. Brenner's sunk in but still kept my hand soft and moisturized. The La Roche-Posay was NOTICEABLY shiny ( more occlusive) and more oily and it was still shiny when I went to bed. This morning, no shine but still soft and moisturized.
Thanks for this! I love the Sunday riley ice cream. The scent is a bit much with it smelling so sweet, but otherwise it's pretty perfect for my nighttime moisturizer.
I'm excited to try the Glossier. I've heard both good and bad things about that company but haven't had a chance to try anything. Thank you. (I was in Korea so I'm isolating and have a lot of time to watch these wonderful videos). THANK YOU! GREAT JOB!
I would like to see the vid about Sunday Riley moisturisers. I loved the ICE one, have you tried the newest one Afterglow? Would you recommend it? Apparently has quite strong scent though
Brandefy I would argue is way better than Skinceuticals’s because it uses L22 Lipid complex which is far superior to just having ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids in a product. L22 is also the same lipid complex that skinfix uses. I’m so surprised you didn’t like it!😮😮 I loved it.
I found out yesterday from a tip online that both Marshall and TJMaxx are now carrying some of the luxury brands at greatly reduced prices. The more expensive ones tend to be sold online vs in the store but I went to my local one yesterday and they had a nice selection. I never thought I would see them selling brands like La Prairie, Chantecaille, Augustinus Bader and lots of Korean skincare. An option to save money. Both they and Kohls also carry Skin Fixx. I was going to try to find some of that today. I'm still looking for a place that sells M- 61 peel pads at a reduced price.....
Ugh I have had many samples of triple lipid restore and the fragrance in it makes no sense to me 🤷♀️ I feel like a lipid restoring cream shouldn’t have fragrance since so many of the population will get a reaction. I’ve found plenty of Asian creams that beat this one and ate like 1/15th of the price.
@@michellemybelle8516oh yes! Sorry I didn’t see this. Torriden solid in cream is like under $30 depending where you buy it and the texture is sooo luxe and creamy. Ceramides and lipids are very high on the inci list and fragrance and essential oil free. That’s just one I would recommend
I'm not sure if the formulations have changed, but I sold MK in my early twenties and routinely got lots of compliments on my skin and makeup when using it. The compliments actually led to me selling more of it as it gave me the opportunity to offer a complimentary facial or skincare class. I will say at the time, I really liked their products, could SEE a difference in my skin and loved being able to help others. The reason I stopped selling it was because of the constant pressure my Director was putting on us all to sell more bcuz she wanted that pink Cadillac! My approach was that if I did a good job explaining and demonstrating the benefits of the product and the customer wanted it, they would buy it. I did not feel right trying to force someone to buy something they either didn't want or couldn't afford at the time as no one likes to be pressured. I truly WAS doing it for fun as I had a full time job at IBM. I wouldn't give repeat business to someone who did that nor should they. I will say this, the story behind MK and it's founder and how many women it helped back in a time where few women were given many career opportunities is inspiring.....
Hi Dana! Yes, I love the Skinceuticals 242 lipid restore! In Canada it costs 180.00. But I still buy it because I have dry skin and my skin loves it! Thank you so much! Susan

Will check it out! Thanks for the rec 🩷🤗
Yep it has all the same ingredients as the skin…..
only difference is the cerave has 0 fragrance.
Cerave and Skinceuticals are both owned by L’Oréal. So I’m sure Cerave is the real dupe and made on the same production line as Skinceutical

Yay!!! So happy it helps!
I wonder what you would think of Dr. Brenner's version of this?
Never heard of it! But will look into it
@@DanaRipperton Thanks! :)

Agreed 100% the smell is odd and the only thing I would change

Hoping to get it made soon!
Loved this and the close ups!!!!
Wonderful! ❤️❤️❤️
What skin tint are you wearing?! Looking so pretty .
Yikes, I honestly don’t remember. Sorrrry

I’ve never tried it 🤷🏻♀️

The texture was the biggest issue for me 🤷🏻♀️
I personally refuse to spend a lot on cleansers and moisturizers. I don’t mind spending a lot on actives.
To each their own 😉🙂🙃
@jay ann someone is trying to cope
@jay ann i agree! for actives, do tret and then splurge on great moisturizers
I can’t use very many actives (while breastfeeding) so these are great options. Thank you for the review!

Have you tried the Rommel scandal eyes mascara? It’s from the drugstore and it’s tubing 😊
I have! It’s good 🤗
Which one is better under makeup the skin fix or the retro cream from DE??
Neither. I don’t think any of these are good daytime moisturizers. They’re all too rich

Can you give Mary Kay clinical solutions reviews?
I’m not sure that is something I’m that interested in as they are an MLM
