Thanks for this nice review Dr. Liu, I’m new to your channel and you really impressed me with your breakdown of why these are reliable products. I’m an RN with a strong research background so you are really speaking my language here lol. I just started my retinoin journey, I’m using the 0.5 from skinceuticals and loving it. They sent a sample of the 2:4:2 with that purchase and I now understand why. I have to say I love it so I’m happy to hear you consider it a worthwhile purchase. I’m 37 and have always looked much younger than my numerical age but I really need to start getting serious about skincare so I appreciate evidence-based and honest product reviews like yours! I think I’ll add in the vitamin C next! ❤
Thank you for the wonderful video. I use all those products and noticed great results. I also love Metacell renewal B3 as my day moisturizer and AGE cream and eye cream. Expensive brand but totally worth it. 🤩

I had my teenage breakout when I hit 30. I couldn't go out or look at myself in the mirror from the shock of how much my skin had changed. I went to England to visit family at the time. I was lucky enough to come across a little shop that had just opened. I met the most amazing dermatologist. In 2 weeks, she made my skin clear and used skin cueticals. It did cost a bomb, and I had to continue using some of the products after my treatments. But, it was well worth it, and I can honestly say that these products are A grade.
What products were recommended? I use the age blemish control and photo corrective serum

Out of the brightening serums CE Ferulic & Discoloration Defense. If you could only pick one ☝🏼 which would be better choice for pigmentation

So Dr. Liu about the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic how stable is it right after you open the bottle for the first use? You mention earlier, they added other active ingredients to the formulation to help stabilize this Vitamin C serum but how effective is after the first use? Do you still have to preserve it in a certain ways like putting in the fridge like many other doctors recommended?
Since there are so many estheticians out there right now, what can a dermatologist do that an esthetician cannot in terms of treatments? Are we wasting our money on facials to treat dark spots, scars, etc? Please advise... ❤
Is the triple lipid safe to use during the day instead of night???
I have been using CEFerulic on and off because my skin couldn’t tolerate it. Also tried lower % vit C serum from skinceutical and other brands and still can’t tolerate them. Is there away I can overcome this? thanks

Hello Dr. Jenny Lou, I appreciate this great review of the Skin Ceuticals products. I have been using these products since 2005. I use C E Ferulic in the morning, followed by hydrating, B5 gel, then triple lipid restore. Am I using these in the right order and should I keep my triple lipid restore for evening and use a different moisturizer for day? I am also using hydrating B5 gel in the evening, followed by HA intensifier. Should I switch that and use the H A Intensifier first? I follow that with the TripIt triple lipid restore. I am 60 years old and have fairly decent kin for my age. My skin is dry to combination. I appreciate any advice you can give me.

I love Skinceuticals! I have been using the Ce Ferulic for years. I’m 47 years old Asian female with melasma. I’m struggling with the HA Intensifier. My skin feels dry 1-2 days after using it. I put it on damp skin and use the Triple Lipid moisturizer but still feels dry. I use it on the days I’m not using my Tretinion. Any advice?

I got Discoloration Defense serum 2 month ago and it was a brown color. I still didn't return it to them cuz they don't reply and don't send me a return label. Never again them
I’m a daily user of the Discoloration Defense. It’s always brown in color.
@@LoveBugXOXO I got a sample for discoloration defense serum and it is clear color. Watch other videos on TH-cam they say it is clear color
There are different formulas, the ones sold in the EU (at least in Germany) don’t contain kojic acid and are clear, kojic acid is what makes it brown afaik.

I have been using C E Ferulic consistently about 6 months now but I haven't really noticed any difference. The smell of the product bothers me a lot and the smell tends to stay on my face for several hours. I continue to use it daily only because it costs so much money. I will never purchase this again. :(
Sorry to hear that. You certainly want to find the right product that works well for your skin and if CEF doesn’t work well for your skin, there’s still a lot of other amazing vitamin C serums on the market

Hello, can u do a review on Perricone MD products? I have used this and skin ceutical line for years. Love them both but one thing that Perricone MD vitamin c is it has Vitamin C ester. Heard that it is more powerful than other lines of vitamin c. Thank you
Yes, I have talked about this formulation in my previous videos. I like it it’s hydrating great for more dry skin. It contains THD ascorbate more stable, lipid soluble form of vitamin C
What do you think about the Phyto A serum for rosacea?

It is Pricy but worthy it in my opinion. But doesn’t mean you can’t find good skincare that’s affordable
You lost my attention about a third of the way through your video. I’m not a slave to product and wear the bare minimum of make up, but am always interested in a good anti-aging cream/serum for my 50+ skin. I make myself look about twice a year for something new or better. My feedback… it was too much info at once.
