hate when manufacturers put rear cupholders in the top of the armrest, much better to have them come out of the end of the armrest as Lexus do

Doesn’t look remotely aerodynamic at the front. Would love to know what the drag coefficient is. I suspect not great.
the rear of the car is more important for aerodynamics. The blunt nose should be okay, Even modern jet airliners have blunt noses.
I've an electronic towbar on my volvo and its been an absolute nightmare, control module has been replaced twice in the last few months and its barely been used more than a handful times. Over engineered shite, get a standard one, go for removeable if you dont like the look of them when not using it. Electronic is a waste of time and money.
Even with the coupe look, it still looks like a van at the front.
Mark. Excellent review. Has a lifelong VW 'fan' [owner of many] i am saddened by VW's current design language. The iD line looks like a T***la [can't even bring myself to type that dreadful brand! designer has gone AWOL and sneaked into VW HQ. R&D and corrupted the system! Why a 'fastback of a 'blob' the size of a Merc Sprinter? VW please stop! It will all end in tears. It is lazy design and will not stand the test of time.
If you had to choose between the ID5 and the EV6, which one would you choose seeing as they are both in the same price bracket.
I think this looks nicer but the Kia will be waaaay more reliable ...

Nice SUV, wheels are awful but other then that it’s a nice vehicle.
EV pricing needs to come down but they are finally getting some range! Hope we see battery improvements and 500 mile range soon!
70k Euro????? The AWD ID4 top trim over here in Canada is 58k CAD. Ok no HUD or Matrix headlights and 21" wheels but seriously? You guys get ripppppppped off!!! The Model Y AWD is 86k CAD here.

Cars are lifestyle purchases now in the parts of the world where there is profit for the manufacturers, they are not interested in supplying lower margin affordable cars that are functional first and desirable second (not saying this is desirable to me, but it seems they are to a great many).
The batteries are still too expensive and heavy to put in a small car, it will be a year or two before that happens. Even tech leader Tesla hasn’t managed it yet.
Hasnt earnt or deserve its 5 title or the whopping price , front and first half of doors is a id 4 like for like, SO i renamed it , the "id4 and a half " or just id 4 coupe . simples
REALLY dislike the tiny “toy town” instrument binnacle and stuck on tablet - All a bit Halfords after market ….

Totally agree, that price is laughable. Its a fancy family car, not too long ago a good family car cost half that.
Batteries are expensive. It's expensive for it's segment size-wise. But definitely not as an EV.
