To have Rosemary essential oil you MUST use the flower exclusively. Here the results is good to perfume a room but not medicine.
@@albrigiluigi4941 I tried both and have better quality and more phenols with only the flower. By the way your machines looks very attracting to me ;-)

@@albrigiluigi4941 thanks for the quick response! My question was: why don't you grind the lavender before extracting? It would expose more surface area and allow you to add at least 2 x more to the drum. In effect quadrupling your yield for fuel burnt. Make sense?

Large batches like this make me think this is not very efficient on amount of yield you would get.

It's being distilled later anyway, so none of that bacteria is going to survive.

YOUR ESSENTIAL OIL IS SO DIRTY!! YOU SHOULD NOT USE YOUR FEET WITH SHOES ON IT TO PRESS THE ROSEMARY..ALSO, YOU SHOULD WASK THE ROSEMARY THOROUGHLY FIRST BEFORE YOU MAKE THE ESSENTIAL OIL. CORREEECCCCT????
