Crochet will not pull the rest of her hair out. You have to make sure you’re not using a lot of tension when installing. She has alopecia which is a hair condition that affects hair growth and it all depends on what kind of alopecia it is.
She has androgenetic alopecia, and yes you’re right. Depending on how you install certain protective styles can effect the condition worse. That’s why the key thing is to NOT use excessive tension on your clients hair and make sure whatever hair your using is not heavy
