I did this braid pattern instead on my mom today for her spring twist and she loved it!! Lol she just wanted to finally be able to wear them down and cover the top and she likes to cover her forehead 😂 but her spot is right in the top towards the front but it came out so nice she called me after and said she was about to walk down the street and swing her hair 😂❤️

It's important that the top is fully covered. Otherwise it doesn't look finished. With a sparcely covered crown.

I mean only so much she can do. This lady would just have to spray some of those hair fibers to cover fix that.
She can double the hair and added more hair also... I ve done that on some that have had alopecia.... Simulating a healthy scalp .. ... You just fill in the gaps you notice .
Put a mesh netted wig cap then crochet. Cut the excess net and band at end. Works like a charm
I have this problem on a very few spots at the top of my head. I was waiting for you to cover the space in the very top of her head. The rest is beautiful. The color suits her. The length is a good fit. Good job.

I’m in the UK and unfortunately, i don’t live in an area where there are black hairdressers or even home hairdressers. So i woukd have to travel 2 hours to london or do my hair myself.
I opt for doing my hair myself.

For a min I thought that was me in the chair..my hair is EXACTLY like that..thin and fine crown and thin edges. I thought she was going to teach me a new way to hide my thin spot in the middle but I guess I'll have to keep wishing. Braid pattern could've helped more but nonetheless if the client is happy then so be it

I was wondering the same thing. I noticed fine hair between the cornrows. She could've split the hair in halve to make it thinner and crocheted on those thin hairs. It would've closed the part up more.

You crochet very well but that part needs to be perfected.. it's the first thing people look at there's not enough hair covering the braided track and the part is waaaay too wide.
