Black hair styles amaze me. I didn’t know this type of style was possible until recently. A black coworker that I see in passing a lot was totally bald one day and came back the next day with super long braids that looked like they showed her scalp. It’s so cool what hair stylists like you can do. This is art.

So she didn't want a lace front which looks hella real...so she settles for a quick weave!? Ok...

People just don't know what women ,Black women have to go through .
Having to deal with some issues myself, that looked absolutely beautiful. People ,in my opinion, people care about how They look from head to toe. I'm not gonna say everybody, but in my opinion, you know, people do care how they look, and I'm sure you made her feel absolutely wonderful. She looks so good. So I commend you for taking the time to share that video and taking the time to do all of what you did to her hair because that does take time and sometimes these days People don't want to take time to understand and take time to make someone else feel good.
Wow, I am sitting here first of all cringing at how tight the initial pulling of the back hair was since there’s so little left BUT! As I continued to watch the magic unfold with that got to be spray and stylists foresight! Wow! Client was looking concerned but NOT at the end!! SHE LOVED IT! Just wow! You’re Amazing

This is what I am experiencing now
When the pandemic hit and I ended up with covid19, I thought that was the greatest of my worries, because I already suffer from lung disease. But when my hair fell out? OMGOSH!!! I saved the whole bag. But thank God I have a primary care person who gave me options that worked for me! Biotin everyday. A great supplement. Tea tree oil for dryness, and medicated shampoo. Now I have a head full of hair, but having trouble finding my favorite relaxer.

I wish she could have used the end of a Rat tail comb to secure the hair going into the Pony tail bc the hair was of inferior quality, which prevented a thorough flow. There are way too many scattered hairs that will be popping up as the week progresses...😢

I'd totally get a wig, but not one of the thick fashion wigs that are too hot. My mom had a short haired airy wig from Japan that looked totally natural black and grey and it didn't wear out or anything. No heat styling required. You could just wash it. And because it wasn't glued onto the head you could just take it off and wash your head and be comfortable at home and at night. I don't know how so many ladies stand being under so much material in summer and all day and night.

@@msmini1585 I can't even have my own hair down my neck without it feeling like I'm broiling. And I do not live in a hot country.
So the thought of so much extra material on my head would just kill me. I think this lady just has bad associations with old style wigs and ones used to make you look like you have more hair.
They can do so much now with synthetics.
I'm very cold natured and it's hard for me to sweat even when exercising. I call my wigs my wig hats but if I was easy to sweat or easy to get hot there's no way I could wear them like I do.
@@cynthiaholland13 I think tons of people complain about how hot wigs are. Even natural hair is hot when in the sun or curly. In countries where people often have a hard time sweating they drink hot drinks and eat hot soup in summer to kickstart the sweating and cool down.
I don't have a hard time sweating but I hate summer, I only feel human when it's cold and there's no A,C here.

Absolutely beautiful. As I watched the video I was amazed by the step bystep outcome. I couldn’t figure out where you we’re going with it. I have had long natural hair in which I usually wore a pony tail, or a 70’s knot . I was my hair and was loving how I could still rock it naturally. Then a year ago my thyroid went haywire and unchecked soon enough. The end result was my hair broke from the middle of my back to above my shoulders and fell out. So thinking I had no alternative, I shaved both sides of my hair/head, ultimately keeping one side shaved. I never realized how my hair was so connected to who I was. I took that for granted and believed it wouldn’t change since I was already 63.I wish I was more versed with weaves and had just given my hair time to grow back. After watching your video, I felt inspired to get my ponytail back. Lol. For ladies whose hair is going through changes as you age, you are an inspiration. Such a beautiful job!

Thank you, @TheHairGuruCarla, for sharing this. At 52, I do NOT know how to do hair 🤦🏽♀️. I've experimented to learn how to do basic braids and a quick weave, but since having alopecia, it's hard to DIY when you don't know how in the 1st place 😂.
Anyway, this video helped me discover a style that I can do myself and keep it for a few weeks. Thank you, thank you, thank you - 🙇🏾♂️ (gratitude).
