      They deliberately ignore these comments so they can continue to bash and complain about the rubber bands lmao.. then their advice is to "just practice" knowing full well it's a lengthy process to learn braiding.. and it's like what?! Don't wear the hairstyle until I've mastered braiding? Another reason why people opt to do their own hair is because of the many times hairdressers make you wait, cancel and reschedule on you, hoping they have the right hair in stock if not bringing your own.. all of those things can make getting your hair done for you a tedious process. And then comes the thought "might as well just do it myself" and then we end up on these kinds of yt videos lol.. videos that are specifically catered to those who aren't good at braiding and/or new to braiding so I don't understand why braiders are so upset.. this video was not made for them in mind lol.

    • @rimonique
      @rimonique ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @micheleturner573 I mean yeah if you plan on dragging your head along the floor and rolling around in the garden. Maybe you're planning on getting freaky and your partner wants to rub your head into the carpet like a dog that pi$$ed. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I don't see how the hair would end up on the floor otherwise but if this is just not secure enough for your needs, the regular braiding method is still available as well as hairdressers :)

    • @micheleturner573
      @micheleturner573 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@rimonique thanks, I don't typically roll around in the garden. It is not uncommon to see in various places where someone's crocheted hair has slipped out, no need to take umbrage over this observation.

    One of THE best crochet tutorials I've ever seen. This method is perfect for people who either cannot braid well, or may be suffering from arthritis or other inflammation issues. Besides that, it ultimately possibly saves you and the client time; and saves the client more money! The end result is beautiful in my opinion. Great job!

    Firstly: ****BRAID-LESS****
    As in NO BRAIDING INVOLVED. Why is that so hard to comprehend!? The amount of illiterate individuals being rude or giving backhanded compliments or saying what you would or would not do is ridiculous: well, luckily YOU know how to braid, so this video was never meant for YOU. My goodness, this talented woman is helping those of us who did not grow up braiding hair and/or those who are "tender-headed" and want alternative ways to do their own hair and/or others. No one cares what YOU would do. Clearly this woman is creative and her clients are happy. Just a bunch of Debbie downers giving unwelcomed "me,me,me" critiques. Yes, they have hair already curled and twisted and all that; we know. She chose to do it this way, oh well lol. 😂😂😂 I saw a video of hers from over a year ago, have never done hair in my life (especially my own): but my sisters have always done it for me since I was a child. Well, I cannot depend on them and their BS, so 2 wks ago, I did my own hair for the first time ever and the amount of compliments I have received is crazy! Been trying to teach myself how to crochet my own hair for a looooong time and my alopecia makes it that much more difficult. But all around, my hair grew long enough for me to take tips from a few old videos and apply them and it worked. Going to try it next time using the mesh cap. So thank you to the PERSON WHO RUNS THIS PAGE for the helpful tips. My crochet Senegalase twists are down my back and you can't even see my big ass crop circle at the crown of my head from my alopecia going into overdrive and my hair falling out again. Just know there are plenty of us who have learned something new and will continue to watch and absorb and apply. Out here making our ancestors proud: Thank YOU! 😊❤❤❤

    Ive been doing my hair that way, without the stocking cap, myself for the last year, but I use braided hair. My natural hair had shedding and baldness and is now short, so I started this technique after a dream. My hair has grown back thick like it used to be, and the thinning has filled in a lot. I refresh and allow my own hair and scalp to breathe every 3 weeks and use oil and vitamin supplements and re-apply. Takes about an hour for me to band and insert hair.

    I can’t cornrow well and was trying to figure this out in my head but without the rubber bands. Now I see how. Instead of rubber band I will plait it an bring it back. I just couldn’t figure out the first braid but this solved it for me. I know this is braidless but it still helped with my issue. Plus I would micro knot the hair to lock it in place so hair doesn’t slip. Still working that part out 😂Thanks ❤

    I really love this method it’s less tension on your natural hair especially if you have a tender scalp! So why all the unnecessary comments here.

    Interesting. I can cornrow and braid and have crocheted my hair in the past. But I've learned something from this at least for the front. And also I never used the net so something to consider for the future. The only thing I recommend changing is treating synthetic hair with human hair products. It's literally synthetic fibre. The minute I switched to detergent and fabric softener ... oh yes. Makes a hell of a differnce and a hell of a lot more sense lol.

    I live out in the country with my kids on the outskirts of town. We do not have a hairstylist, so I'm the hairstylist now for us all including for myself. (I know nothing about doing hair, but this video alone gave me hope.)This channel is awesome for me. I just became a new subscriber!!!! 😊❤💯

    Also, the cap doesn't need to be sewed down if you securely crochet the perimeter

    Doing it this way you might as well use the rubber band method and just do box braids

    I always wonder why do they put in hairpieces when they have a beautiful head of air. Her hair is healthy and lovely.
