I played kilspindie last two years in March for a golf outing. Greens both times were as good as any I played throughout the entire season. It’s a great layout that you can score well on, which always adds to the enjoyment, and the weather both times was great, compared to the west coast of Scotland that I’m from

100% agree knew it would be good but not that good! Can’t argue with the price at all considering the condition 👏🏻 Best both of us have scored potentially ever! Soo enjoyable and well defo be back! Hopefully play the full course in daylight next time too 😂

You’ll not find too many better courses than Kilspindie at this time of year. Great wee track and always in great nick 👌 Got a few mates down there so tend to play it a few times each year especially in the winter when my own course is a bit muddy 😬 Thought you would enjoy it as pretty wide open for the most part and not too punishing. The views are exceptional as well! You often get a group of seals just lying chilling on the rocks 🦭 You’ll be glad Michael never reviewed the coffee though. Might have lowered your food scores that 🤣

Absolutely Iain! Right up there! One of the most enjoyable knocks we’ve ever had and shot our best scores to date round there (funnily enough after the Archerfield Lesson).. Would have love to have seen the seals! Hahah will be sure to include that in the review next time although the Cullen Skink would balance it out 😂 Any other recommendations to play up that neck of the woods ⛳️?

Mate, it’s East Lothian! Take your pick!! I’ll happily take you on Royal Musselburgh, my home course but it’s not great just now like all the parkland courses in winter. Leave that until May time when it’s coming back to its best. Actually our 250th anniversary next year so would be a good year to play it as you could get a decent video out of it 👍 Regards other courses, any of the links ones are still good in winter. You’ve got all the Gullane courses, Dunbar, North Berwick…All quite pricey though. Value for money would be Musselburgh Old Course, the world’s oldest course. 9 holes of natural links golf 👊🏽

Absolutely. Done deal for summer 👍 Also, some putting advice for Stephen. Looks like you are so close to the ball that your eyes could be outside the ball if you were to hang a club from your eyes down to the ball whilst in your putting posture. Vast majority of golfers putt best if they are slightly inside or directly over the ball. I believe this contributes to the way you aim your putter left of your actual start line and reroute the putter to open the face and start it on your target. Watch this video from a really good putting coach on how to find your perfect eyeline 👍
