Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This TH-cam channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

He has the best golf attitude for sure. Rick needs to follow that.
Guy's swing is better than Ricks most of the time, sometimes he gets a little handsy and loose.

All I’ve learned from this and the last vids, Scotland is beautiful and should be appreciated in all its glory. May we all be blessed to experience this and all it’s glory (but maybe… the summer months would be better suited for the feint of heart).
I’ve been watching Rick Shiels videos for a long while. Really love the content. I love golf. I play in the summer as much as I can and I try minimum 2 times in a week with my work schedule. I’m an 11 handicap, and have only broken 80 maybe 10-15 times in the 15+ years I’ve been playing. Never had any lessons self taught. I consistently score 81-85 for 18, but not regularly into the 70’s. My best round to date I started out 3 birdies in a row, followed with 3 bogies and pars. Shot even on the front and +4 on the back 9 for a 76. Awesome 73!!! Way to go Rick!
I enjoy seeing Guy play with Rick. This was a hell of a performance by Guy today. Rick your game has come around lately as well. Keep grinding.
Its crazy how you can see the change in rick. he looked down and beaten up like he was going through a weird faze in his golf life, now he looks re energised and ready to take on any course 💪

Well played guys. The last 2 break 75’s have been special for me being an exiled Fifer. My grandparents worked at Elie Golf Club in the 80s and I also bought my Tommy Armour 845s there in ‘92. Still playing them today!

Nice way to kill some time on a Friday! Rick’s game is looking much better but Guy has improved even more than Rick. It would be great to show both scores after each hole. Love the series…thanks guys!

Playing Break 75 with a pro like Iona, the previous week, was just so much more entertaining! As a mid-handicapper, I find little value in Guys' "talk through of every shot/situation". This week, found myself hitting fast forward a lot...

This is wonderful. Just watched it and I can assure you the wind can be brutal! My son-in-law and I have been fortunate to play Elie several times. It really is a beautiful course. I recall one time in particular when it was blowing a gale and he, a good golfer, took driver off the tee on 15 and then off the fairway to just get on the green. He was chuffed to come off with par.
I’ll be watching the Crail episode soon, as that’s another course we’ve played several times. Another stunning course in an area blessed with so many.

I watch rock shields a lot and learn new things all the time from this channel today I learned that it's okay to have some bad games when that happens work harder thank you rick shields and guy for giving me that advice that helps a lot
30:10 I don't know if anyone else is noticing, but your green play is so much better. Yeah, one silly double bogey, but you are getting those initial chips and putts much closer. It's clear to see for me.

Lucky enough to have played Elie a couple of years ago (on a much warmer day than this). I don’t know why the course feels as special as it does but it truly is fabulous and you fall in love with it. Great to watch the pair of you work your way round with great scores. Need to get back there soon.

Absolutely loved this! Was like a trip down memory lane as we as a family used to always go on holiday to Elie every summer. Stayed in the house at the side of the 4th tee beside the 19th hole pub. Beautiful part of the world.❤️🏴

As a new golfer…. That feeling or breaking through some hard moments on the course (struggling with driver, chipping, long irons) and having a round where everything is on….. makes up for all the headache and grinding. GOLF. love the video, Rick keep going!

Hi Ricky, I’ve liked, commented and Subscribed to your channel for just under 3 years. I believe and trust your most important advice and that is to “take my medicine”. If I try the impossible shot, it never works for me and the hole ends up being a double or triple bogey. Keep it up matey, I feel your pain and your successes along the way to consistently breaking 75. Hopefully, I can break 90 one day😂😂😂😂

Rick's mental game is so much better. When you played the silly double bogey but then reset and played back to back birdie's, was so enjoyable to watch. A short while ago Rick would have let that double bogey get in his head and effect the next holes.. but it now seems like he's made a break through with controlling his mind and trusting his game... Sensational video as usual 👍
