Another valuable lesson comes from the great philosopher Gordon Sumner (aka Sting) who in his song Englishman in New York sang “be yourself no matter what they say.”
I agree wholeheartedly. One tiny adjustment. Me is the least used pronoun. It's the more caustic "I" that is said incorrectly on the level you said rabbi besides on the linguistic level as well.
Thank you, Rabbi Friedman. So I have a question about this, this is how I was brought up. You were given talents and abilities in order to give to the world. I try to always ask myself what G-d wants from me now, not want do I want to do. And yet I suffer from depression and I'm told it's because I don't focus enough on my own needs. How would you explain that?
Yes is about being good too others ad helping people but some much people are selfish ad only careing about themselves they days lots dont even belive in god but the people who are rich ad not happy god knows them well
Love G-d yes. Love others no. Treat others fairly. Love our neighbor which for Jews is our fellow Jews. During Torah time our non Jewish neighbors enslaved us, tried to kill us, tried to convert us, etc. G-d did not say to love those neighbors since it is a ridiculous idea. He did command us to treat them fairly. We should be so fortunate to have fair treatment as well. Over 3500 years later not much has changed. Some are seeing what G-d said as truth, others not so much. Thankfully, one day all will.
Yeah sadly I have to say this but it is about you if you're being abused and you don't know how to take care of yourself you have to take care of yourself
But you is part of the creator and society. I know that G-s teach us to love thy neighbor, ואהבת לרעך כמוך. It’s ok to want for yourself and others. As long as you see both as equal
Why is the focus on equality? There is no such thing in G-d's world. It's not necessary. The more important concept is that everyone is unique and both valued and important for that uniqueness by the Creator.
Love thy neighbor only refers to Jews and other Jews We don't have to love people who don't accept or hate or try to change us to not be Jews or want to make us leave the earth unnaturally. It's absurd to think so. One day though all people will be different towards G-d and us which will bring the coming of Moshiach.
@@Y1836Y I don’t remember reading “love that neighbor, as long as…” You are of course free to take it as you do, but it isn’t the way I choose to take G-d ציווי. For he created and keep creating every single things in our world, and for he make no mistakes - I herby acknowledge all the things and people in this world as part of his creation and I choose to try and love it and them regardless of human logic.
But I can see the dark side of "what can I do" I think people should not create divisions such as "me" and "others" and G-d is in everything and in everyone, the question is not what someone can make but more about what can someone be before to make something
Unity of humanity will occur naturally when all people recognize G-d as One. One being the only, no trilogy, and one as in one with every thing He created and continues to create. Jews will still be Jews as G-d's chosen people. Others will be non Judaic people as G-d values them as well. The difference will be known and accepted without rancor since of course G-d runs His world. Everyone will know the value of their unique and important place in G-d's world. Wanting some kind of forced homogeny is not by G-ds design. It's some foolish notion that counters G-d's world as He blessed be He created it.
Is any body here who could help me financially? I going through such a difficult time and have no support... I am not beging I am just asking for the help... If any one could help me than please contact me. Thank you.

there is nothing but
God or Self,

Absolutely

You are right.
Facts.
True❤
Amen
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤so let’s do it❤❤❤❤🕎
Excelente 👏👏👏👏👏
But let's not abandon the fact that boundaries are crucial as well, it's about a healthy balance of me-ness and others-focus
❤
I am everyone.
🙏🏻
It is a spiritual battle.
Even parents can be prey to societal ways creeping ito the home. Pray every day.
if its about others, than its about them and they are “yous”. so it is about you, but do things for others
This is truer than most recognize.
…because there is no “me”
God is Infinity 😉

Step 1 get over yourself.
Step 2 love God love others
Step 3. Refer to Step 1
Love G-d yes. Love others no. Treat others fairly. Love our neighbor which for Jews is our fellow Jews. What just you said about is true For your age sir nut mot for 14 years old .
Truth is truth. Age has nothing to do with it.
Oh! I beg to differ 😂

No dark side to G-d's plan of each doing what He wants and needs us to do.
@Y1836Y I am talking about the dark side of human condition
בשבילי נברא העולם
but first you have to take care of your self, so you can serve best
Just think what category (male/female, sick/ healthy, believer/non-believer etc.) and what lie.
Keep yourself off your mind!
