Please more information on Drills! I've worked with one of Ole's students who highly recommended the first edition, which I keep meaning to buy (maybe I'll do that now....), but I was curious about volume 2 as well!!
It's very rare thing when a bassoon accessory costs only 2 digits of dollars. It's a miracle when the first digit is a 1! I had a lot of left hand problems that were solved by the Weait No Hands strap. Other players agree. My latest left hand cure is a bungee cord from the chair to the top hole in a balance hanger. I first saw this in a picture of Suzanne Nelsen, 2nd bassoon in the Boston Symphony. But that requires that you have a balance hanger. The Wesit strap does not.
I LOVE the Weait no-hands strap, but you definitely have to have the right chair to hook it on or it gets in the way of the right thumb. It’s seriously fantastic for people who suffer with left hand issues. Also, I’d love to hear more about Weissenborn Vol. 2!
I have loved some great Puchner bassoons. I won my first two teaching jobs on one I have for sale currently. You can learn more about them here. th-cam.com/video/6wqttZO356g/w-d-xo.html and on my website.
