Ordered a new 74 Renegade,304,and Warn winch, which they installed at the dealer, and a black vinyl top,it was a purple color, called Renegade Plum!I regretted letting it go years ago!
Great jeep. Always park in reverse. They can pop out of first especially on a hill. On inclines i always use a 4x4 block of wood or a wheel chock. Dont want any kids getting run over. Oil pump booster plate is a great upgrade for the oil pump. Keeps the gears from digging in to the stock aluminum cover.
Do you want to see a brand new 1974 Renegade. My neighbor in Puerto Rico have one just like that one but it been kept up really good that it still looks brand new. His dad bought it brand new the he passed up to his son and he keep it very very good
I have a 1973 CJ-5. About the only thing left of the original Jeep is the VIN plate. :) I have replaced the chassis and the body over the years and stuck in a 4.3 V6 with an auto trans.
Here in Toledo, Ohio we pronounce it "Will EEZ" Willys OVERLAND ✌🏻 we are the Birthplace of Willys- Overland Jeep, Dana Axles and Champion spark plug, Devilbiss air compressors, Owens Corning and Libby glass and Toledo Scale. Cheers. ❤
@@AllVehiclesGreatandSmall 😆🙏🏻 We have streets named for them, Willys parkway and Jeep Parkway. So the Name Willys certainly has a definitive colloquial pronunciation here and assuming many of us are the descendants of people around back when it was more relevant it's safe we are probably saying correctly. Thank you 🙏🏻😊
I miss my 75 Mexican CJ5. Fun Jeeps for sure!
Everyone should have a jeep once in their life!
Awesome! Personally, my older brother Stephen actually has a 1978 Jeep CJ5! He has had it since his High School days!
Thanks! That’s cool that your brother still has it!
Nice video. I have a coworker that has one exactly like that! 👍🏻
Thank you! It’s a great Jeep!

A jeep isn’t finished until there isn’t any jeep left
True story!

The 70’s were a great decade of jeeps for people to custom and upgrade. Thanks for sharing your story!

It was sad when I learned how Willys was pronounced. Ohio was the place to be for car makers!
