Sorry, I don't write or speak English but with google one does wonders. I am a 56 year old man fulfilling a dream. having a cj7. Your videos are very inspiring and educational. I hope to see my CJ7 as beautiful as your CJ5 . Thanks for existing , from PUERTO RICO, the island of Encanto here inthe Caribbean a Puerto Rican jeep fanatic.

Great work. This was a fun series to watch. Brought back some great memories of a certain 76 CJ-7 that was my first vehicle, and definitely a member of our family.

Been watching your stuff for a long time and have enjoyed the rides….but I love the addition of the series
(looked forward to each)….I especially have a warm place for the CJ’s (it’s an
old guy thing). Also if I may….props to Cindy….her videography and editing skills are excellent.

It has been a real pleasure to watch these videos, I was able to find my 1985 cj7 I had in highshool and college. My mom found my old Title to it behind her washing machine, one day later and the help of a friend, I found it in Montana. It was in great shape and the lady that owned it was an angel and she agreed to sell max back to me . I will always be in her Debt. I have been spending some spare time on it to restore it the way it was when i drove it. It still had the same wheels that I put on it . After i am done with restoring all of the hinges on it. Then come the original decal kit. I will keep the 4 inch lift and 33s but everything else gets to go back to the original. Ps after enjoying more this summer I will be putting in the v-8 this winter , and both my girls will be able to drive it to high school like I did. Sorry I wrote so much. I just am happy to have gotten my Jeep back

I too have a 74 CJ-5 Renegade and absolutely love it. I bought it from the original owner in 2008 and completely rebuilt it . I can't say I restored it because it now has a 401 that is pretty lively with it's Edelbrock heads and MSD 4 barrel TBI etc . Definitely a blast to drive . Especially now with 4 wheel power disc brakes and custom built locking Dana 60 semi floating rear diff and custom built locking Dana 44 front diff with 4.10 gears hanging from a 4" Rubicon Express suspension system and 33" BFG Mud Terrain Tires . She goes where I point her without complaining that's for sure. Jane sure turned out pretty. Nice work 😀

Just finished the whole series, first thanks for sharing this it was really great to watch this old gal come back to life. It was great watching this old Jeep get some love from you guys and return to her former glory. She'll be around for another 40 years for other people to appreciate. Resto isn't easy, but stepping back from a project like this sure does feel good to see it all come together in the end. Great job you two, and thanks for the feels!

I love (well, we love) resto work of all sorts. There's something about seeing what others might view as "trash" come back from that discarded state and become that diamond in the rough you imagined it was. It's very satisfying on so many levels, and can be a real source of pride. I got the sense of pride and satisfaction coming through this whole series, and while you two do amazing videos all the time I really connected with this one. Great job, and thanks again :)

What a beautiful series! I almost teared up at the end! Pathetic, I know but whatever. I like your style and your choice of music. Would love to see some videos of Janes adventures now that it appears she is in good hands.
It's been a year sense I was introduced to Wayalife through this video. I can't tell you many videos of yours I have watched sense then. So many of them are so inspiring to get out and enjoy our jeeps but being an old school guy, this one is my favorite. I even made a Calamity Jane on my sons Forza 3 game, complete with Wayalife license plate! Anyway, keep up the great work and a very heart felt thank you!

Jane is the princess that everyone loves. I've wanted a jeep for a while now and it will be a few more years before I get one. Your videos of off roading, friends & other jeepers getting together having a blast and the Alaskan JK Experience is what driving my wanting a Jeep even more. I certainly do enjoy all of your posts and enjoyed the post from a few years ago when you toured through my home state...Michigan. I drive a 4x4 vehicle now and get on the trail when I can. It's not much of a off roader but it gets me on the trail and I'm happy when I do. Thanks again for the videos...maybe one year I'll have the pleasure to meet you all and maybe even hit a trail or two. As yall would say....keep the sunny side up. :)

    • @wayalife

Thank you. Thanks to companies like Omix-Ada and Crown, finding parts was easier but being that Jane is an intermediate CJ5, it did still take a lot of effort to find everything we needed. Of course, that's where eBay comes in handy but that also takes patience to find what you need.

Just want to say thanks. My 75'/81' project has hit a couple of three steps forward five steps back issues ( blown pinion on the 75' D44, contaminated bearings on the 360 V8). These have made it difficult to take a deep breath, spending more of a non-existent budget and push on. Seeing the next in this series gets me to just focus on another part of the project and keep going or just take a break because as it is said... at this home as well (5 JEEPs) it is a WAYALIFE.

I have a ratty old yellow 74 CJ5 called Ralphie (and a border collie/beagle mix named Darcy.) Great videos and nice looking CJ! Really wish I would have come across these a couple years ago when I first started breaking my 79 CJ5 down it would have saved me a lot of time and money in trial and error. But outside of a fresh paint job I'm feeling pretty good about the end result of my first rebuild watching you work through yours. This might have motivated me to finally take it apart one last time and get it the fresh paint it deserves. Really enjoyed watching the series and looking forward to what you put out next!

It was so fun to watch this outstanding transformation! You did a top notch job. The quality of the video and the quality restoration show your eye for detail. I'm looking forward to the next series! Two things: 1.) Garage envy. 2.) I can't fathom how someone could thumbs down this video. Be well. Greetings from Puebla, MX
