When I have many hours between flights, I do accordingly to my condition 😸 If tired and need to sleep very bad- I go to hotel or quiet area to crash and sleep. If it’s a day and I’m ok - I go and do everything: eating, drinking, walking and do stuff on the internet like office stuff, all depends on time I have. Sometimes it’s worth it to go to the city. If like you, I would be trying everything in this cool airport!!!❤❤❤
If you have to be stuck in an airport with a long layover, this is the one. Looks like lots to keep you busy to pass the time. The Jewel was beautiful!
I see they have done a few upgrades since my last five trips to Singapore. Great country! Single young female at the time - walked around at night. No problems!

Since you went through customs, and are wondering what is better than the mall, go to Sin Huat Eating House. Expensive ($150 per kg) but distinctive. Taxi to Red-light district of Geylang Lorong 35
Beautiful airport. Thanks for taking us along. San Diego is talking about a Japanese style individual fiberglass beehive tube hotel near the airport. I'd try it if the price was right. Better than sleeping 2 nights in a chair in Dallas.

@@JohnnyFD Yeah halfway through it now. I am not Asian, and live in Australia but I ended up living/working/having friends who are Mainland Chinese/HK/Vietnamese/Indian and can relate to a lot of the movie even though I don't know anyone that rich! Example is very simple the wash cloths things, where in one scene they wash the clothes every fortnight even if her son wasn't in Singapore whilst an exaggeration, I found that washing cloths everyday is a habit for the Chinese Asians I know esp the women.
Is it a thing in Singapore they speak English to each other to show they classy? It felt strange they didn't speak a chinese dialect. I have vague memories the elite use English to each other and chinese to the "workers", in Singapore and perhaps Malaysia. Thanks for the recommendation.
Singapore's official language is actually English, at least one of them is. But yes, I think it's an upper class thing too.

Appreciate your tips on Taiwan. Took the purple line in Taipei the station and facilities are good. The recent quake has slowed down the airport trains.. so it takes more like 50 mins to get to town.

Wow amazing VLOG of Singapore Changi Airport Johnny - must put it on my list as I love waterfalls. Also really good that you can leave your personal items in the lounge for 3 hours but as a former police officer can I suggest not leaving your bags unattended as you might find they end up in a million tiny pieces 😂

It really makes Americans reflect on the potential that our nation has to be better place. Take a look at the major airports in the USA and how we spend our federal money. 800 billion annually on the military alone. We can and should do better.
Our military is fantastic and is money well spent to keep the USA and our allies safe around the world. However, many of our Airports are terrible, as the TSA and Workers Unions have made it very difficult to have efficiency.

After a few flights around Antartica, he lost control of his aircraft and then 2 UFO take control of the aircratft take him under the Antartica. He saw massive city with hundred of crystal building 1 km high and rain forrest with rivers, ocean . that is impossible for Antartica weather. and beyong human capability.

Yes, I just saw that they won for 2024. I've had an 8 hour layover there once, it was a nice airport for sure.
Here's what I wrote on my blog about it:
"Ironically even though the airport in Qatar told us they only served snacks, it ended up being one of the best lounges I've been in as it actually had great food, and a really nice coworking space area. The funny thing was that this was before I got my Priority Pass and actually paid $55 for each person to go into the Doha lounge there, and even then it was worth it as we had an 8 hour layover. Being there essentially all day, we were able to have 2 full meals there, some snacks, dessert a shower, and had a comfortable place to get 6 hours of work in online. Personally I couldn’t care a less how an airport looks I want in and out as soon as possible and I only take direct flights.
Please find me a direct flight from Taiwan to Ukraine...or even Poland or any surrounding country.
@@JohnnyFDthis is why I only travel by car when I travel through Europe I have a built in bed in my car so no unnecessary hotel costs. Johnny our cars are about the same size, your Cayenne will definitely support a built in bed 😅 I highly recommend it
