Love the Q&As! Congrats on being an inch away from 250k subs! Very cool.
I did a 23&Me DNA test awhile back and had my mother and grandfather do it. 😮It was very interesting. If you’re interested in that type of stuff, you might want to do that and get your parents to do it. You’ll probably be able to trace the migration of your ancestors.
I’ve done it, but unfortunately there isn’t much data for Asian people.
Ohhhhh
For the Porsche, also make sure to top off the gas and add fuel stabilizers. Otherwise, the fuel will deteriorate and literally turn to slush over time if not driven. Fuel stabilizers will sustain the fuel for around a year in storage. I use it for all my cars in storage back in the states.
I am white.but I grew up taking my shoes off in our home. My husbands family think I am nuts because it bugs me when they wear shoes in my house. My.brother in law would stay on carpet by my door so he did not have to take off shoes. Makes me wonder if my moms family have esterno europe heritage or something. Idk.
Johnny you need to find a good Ukrainian girl.
I enjoyed seeing you with your family bro!
Hi little brother. I really enjoyed watching the q and a. And loved especially the deep convo about you changing your life for the better. So proud of you. Love you. ❤
I think one of the biggest con in living in Taiwan, especially in Taipei, is the cost of buying a house. The price of a new apartment these days in Taipei can cost you from 36000-46000 USD per 3.3 square meter. In high demand areas, it can even go up to 70,000 dollars. You can always go for an old apartment, but even then they cost at least a million dollars to buy and look more run down.
Anytime Brother,
Aww the Taiwan vlogs with your fam jam were really great
Glad you liked them!
Awww thank you love!!
I really enjoyed your Taiwan 🇹🇼series! Lots of good memories from my time there.
My Taiwanese brother👍
Very interesting!
I am very happy that you are doing exactly what makes you happy! We should all be able to do what makes us happy!
U know what Johnny. Follow youre heart....and i will go on following you!!
Thanks Lars!
Johnny, what did you mean when you said something about Pigeons? Im curious what you had to say.
Good luck 👍🍀
with your ability to speak a variety of languages and your history of travel. you should never be unemployed. your education, and bubbly personality with the language backup should make you an excellent candidate for many jobs. 👍
Thanks! But I feel like i'm unemployable in the traditional 9-5 sense. 😂
@@JohnnyFD I'm envious, I wish i was out of the 9 to 5. What do you think was the best $ Nomad biz model in your experience? ... You mentioned some dropshipping stores.
Take care and safe travels!
I'm sorry you went through that in the US. My family is diverse and I love it.
6:52 You are an educated wealthy American! I would never guess. Don't mean to offend you, but I don't remember you giving a professional opinion about anything except food. What is your formal education?
aww, that's mean :( you russian?
@@hk5454 It means you are Bolivian? What difference does it make? No, I am not Russian.
He worked in finance, no? I guess that was his degree.
@@Bracarensis are you his wife, answering on behalf of him?
@sergeytsvetanov besides ignorant you're stupid too. Typical soviet.
If you enter the home of Finnish people with shoes 👞 👟 and not take them off, you will be thrown out very quickly.
And you should ask for the restroom for washing hands also. And they will give you z guests towel.
Talking about acceptance of minority groups. Me being a Belgian citizen, my son of three got my family name 'Vanhee' and not the both family names. My wife is Bulgarian and her last name 'Genadieva' has not a good connotation here because of the big population of Roma emigrants in Ghent, Belgium. However they have mostly a Turkish sounding family name but Belgian citizens don't know that. It's somehow important in my son's further lifetime to get a Belgian last name not be discriminated on the job market for instance. It's sad but that's still reality in the twenty first century. And it won't get any better with the coming European and national elections.
great video!
Great video Johnny, loved the series with your family. I think over the years my favorite remains to be Sri Lanka..loved the interactions and scenery. Hope you find a nice girl, it helps. I liked the dynamics with you and the girl you walked dogs with. Hopefully you don't fall back into past practices if you know what I mean...glad to have found your channel.

Great explanation about your family Johnny, would be cool for you to find out where your father's father was from, like his village/province, and where his parents were from. Pretty crazy he was in the Guo Min Dang, great history, you should be proud man! peace from Fuzhou/福州。
Best video I think so far, you really opened up a lot, good stuff, peace from Fuzhou.
Don't know if you realized you partitioned this vlog. The AI generated titles for each section made me laugh! Loved the Taiwan series!
👍👍🤣🤣🤣👃✌️🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it! It was defeintely 100% AI. =0
Hey Johnny, love the vids, please leave Taiwan before China invades....
i'd worry about taiwan's security/sovereignty if you moved there
haven't you done enough damage already?!
Johnny I’m a Filipino woman that feels the same way! I didn’t fit in with the typical cutesy Asian crew as well. Too American for even some Filipinos lol
Filipina are more similar to Latina character-wise than fellow South East Asian in general, let alone East Asian.
Hello Johnny, great comprehensive explanation of differences in culture and expectations, i agree with you on Ukrainian culture and the perfect mix! And I’ll be back there soon as well!
Hey Johnny, I just want to tell you that your a wise man and that have grown up faster than some of your friends. I feel the same way Brother. I left the state’s in 2007 and never looked back. I have 2 condos in Thailand at the beach and also a house in America. I would have never had any of these things if I didn’t travel overseas working for 15 years. I’m in a great state of mind and it’s nice to be able to travel. Lived in Taiwan for a while and really liked it there and I will go back. Lived in South Korea as well but the winter’s are brutal.😅 I’m in Arizona now, if you’re ever in my neck of the woods look me up. Your always welcome. My wife may even have a girlfriend you may like. Take care brother and thank you for all your great videos. Ps you can take off your shoes at our house
Hey thanks for the offer Dave, I appreciate it.
Physically i see more of your Mongolian ancestry in your face than Chinese. But beyond that you are a man of the world. Well traveled (an understatement), comfortable in many cultures and cosmopolitan.
Thanks for the comment. =)
I feel awkward commenting on this one because I’m in awe of what you’ve done and what you know in depth about. It’s impressive, is all I can say. Safe journeys! 💐
I appreciate that! Thanks so much for the kind words!
40:15 One of the most “being a human moments” caught right there. As Johnny starts speaking about his journey back to Kyiv, thinks/remembers that he has to get back to his Cayenne due to possible degradation through being idle for so long; The sheer nerves and true anxiety begin to show as situation of what he has to do regarding his vehicle, sell/drive it to own it and get actual use out of the suv because the trade off of price to ownership overtime really, well “might not be worth it unless you have literal extra millions to burn and don’t mind basically torching tons of money for at that point just to say you’ve got a cool car…”
POP:
There goes the Ukraine rubber band bracelet…
As he’s mentioning reasons why he must go back… he’s listing, listing… Brain finally chimes in with, “ohhh shit, you just snapped the rubber Ukraine bracelet my guy, now add that to the list and pick that shit up you, for the respect… WOOORRRRDD!
I just watched it again and relived that moment. Ouch!
DNA test maybe very helpful. And it’s like $50
I’ve taken it. But results for Asians are too broad, it just says mostly “Asian/Chinese/Viet/Korea/Maybe”
Thanks!
Wow thanks Bev!!
Management and control of calories will improve longevity. I do intermittent fasting. Doing salads and excellent proteins. Avoiding sugars: carbohydrates, fructose and sucrose. Live long and prosper. Thanks for videos of Kharkov - > Kharkiv.
I've enjoyed your videos with your family in Taiwan.
I've listened to several different sources that claim if the CCP touches Taiwan there will literally be nothing left for them to have but burnt soil. It's a way different calculus than Ukraine. The world is so dependent on Taiwan for tech. 2 chip fab plants being built now in Arizona to offset risk of war TSMC and the U.S. government combined have invested $65+ Billion in new manufacturing plants.
Darn you Johnny. I was just about to go to bed lol it’s Almost 12:27 am here. Lol I’ll watch until I can’t hold my eyes open and watch rest tomorrow.
Thanks for trying! Get get some sleep now!
I feel like I just went on a first date with Johnny, and I’m not even gay, however I did stick around to hear “this other version of my guy FD’s thoughts and random knowledge of places I sure as shit probably won’t be visiting any time soon!”
Haha glad you enjoyed it! =)

stop living in places that get invaded or are about to get invaded
Ooh I'm in the thumbnail! 😮 🇨🇦
38:28 Thanks for answering my question. Safe journeys back to Ukraine 🇺🇦 Ps. I feel you about the lifestyle. I’m starting to hit that point. I want happiness and fulfillment and health. It’s a journey for sure.
Always enjoy your Q&A videos!
Glad you like them!
Your parents families? Are literally 'your' family. Right?
Yes, or my extended family I guess.
I love living in Taiwan 🇹🇼
It's seems a simple fix rent the car to, or even just lend it to a friend, all the best mate
I considered it, but the consumables on a Cayenne like the cost of brakes, tires, etc, are extremely high, it would be a $1,500 replacement each time.
Yes please live in every country about to get invaded!
Oh no 😂
bro looking pretty plump these days
Lol. I think he knows luv 😂😂
😎❤️🇹🇼‼️
cool story
hello
Is this your Airbnb house in Italy, Johnny?
Saya suka vidio nya sayang ❤
Ukraini i love too. 👍🙏💙💛🇺🇦💛💙🙏👍
you are Genghis Khan reincarnation 😄
Your views regarding the situation of microchips between Taiwan and mainland China is a bit outdated. SMIC, mainland China's equivalent of Taiwan's TSMC, is now producing 7nm chips which are used in Huawei's latest 5G-capable smartphones. Despite sanctions and restrictions imposed by US on chip fabrication equipment and advanced chips, mainland Chinese chip companies are making advances to lessen dependency on imports.
The 7nm chips came out in 2018...which is 6 years behind...
The 3nm is almost everyday life for Samsung and TSMC. They are focusing this year to introduce 2.1nm nodes.
Diet... diet... diet!
Ukrain is a boring country to live. The food options are limited. I don’t know how you can live in a country like that.
I heard the current leader of Ukraine was an actor before without political experience. I also heard he surrounds himself with neo nazi's as his protection. Is any of this true?
The first part is true. The second part is a pure ruzzian propaganda. Hope this helps)
People for get that Donald Trump was also a reality show actor. 😂
Get off the Internet and go outside
Leader of Ukraine is Jewish.
enjoy your stay in taiwan province of China.
No it's State of the USA

@@karilang9377 The position of the United Nations is that the People’s Republic of China represents the whole of China as the sole and legitimate representative Government of China. The decision until now about the wish of the people in Taiwan to join the United Nations has been decided based on The resolution (General Assembly Resolution 2758) mentioning that the Government of China is the sole and legitimate Government and the position of the United Nations is that Taiwan is part of China.
