The Schenker brothers (guitarists) both made amazing hard rock songs that decade, Rudolf with this band and Michael on his own. And yes, Klaus Meine sang his heart out back then. This is the band which turned me onto hard rock & metal when I was in junior high, with my favorite one of theirs "No One Like You"...still a powerful rock song with clarion guitar solos.

Fun-Fact: On one of theyre US-Tours (i didn't remember whitch) they had a young Rock-Band from New Yersey to warm up the crowd. The music was good, but the "show on stage" ... well not so. So the manager of that band talkes to the lead-singer and told him: "Jon, take your guys, go to the side of the stage, and look how they do it!" Jon did so, and they get better in performance. Next time that band got on tour, they where the Headliners ... and that is, how Bon Jovi become famous ;-) Greetings from Germany

Different people have different favorites w/the Scorps, Holiday and Always Somewhere, I think you would love. Also there is Winds of Change, an amazing song talking about a real event. The Scorps are from Germany, Winds of Change is from when the Berlin Wall came down, so East Berlin and West Berlin could be the same city again after the wall was put up after World War 2. Winds of Change is about being very happy, finally, and was both melancholy and very hopeful... the winds of change in the air, if the wall could come down, peace and a beautiful future is possible. Last: Did you know the Scorpions started in 1965 and are still touring now, 57 years later?????
