We're so stoked to be back in Malaysia, exploring the city of Kuala Lumpur and on a journey taking Dad home. This is gonna be an unforgettable adventure filled with delicious food, iconic landmarks, lots of surprises and so many new memories.
First up is Nasi Lemak Wanjo for the meal Dad has been craving the most, Nasi Lemak. Nasi Lemak Wanjo is a local gem known for its mouthwatering rendition of Malaysia's beloved dish, Nasi Lemak. From the fragrant coconut rice to the spicy sambal sauce and an array of delectable toppings, this culinary delight will leave you craving for more.
Petronas Towers: It's our first time going up the Petronas Towers despite seeing it so often over the years! Panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur, KLCC park walks, some hilarious games and Dad getting up to no good haha.
Petaling Street Markets (also known as Chinatown) was last and this place is bustling! Colourful stalls, lots of 'impersonations' and loads of street food - it's good to be back in the chaos!

I'm Chinese dad Thai mother and I was born here in Malaysia. I worked in Singapore and I always remember what my Grandmother my dad side told me Malaysia is a country you will never find in other place.This is why I'm proud to be born here.
My favourite country I am every year in Kuala Lumper we love it maybe going to retire there one day. Me and my husband love it there. I am going again end of this year.

The cravings I have are the same. I spend hours looking at Malaysian food on my ipad. Nothing in the world beats Malaysian food! I have lived abroad for 51 years and no matter how many times I have returned to Malaysia, I have never been able to fit in all my favourite foods😢

I lived in Sitiawan for 11 years... miss Malaysian food EVERY DAY. Probably just as well, I gained 10 kgs in the first 6 months lol...
Sitiawan seafood galore
There is quite a lot restaurant and cafe in sitiawan. Side note sitiawan/manjung is one of the top 10 happiest town in Malaysia. Really like that peaceful town and the affordable lifestyle. I have live in 3 of the 10 happiest town in Malaysia. So far my favourite one is sitiawan. If you like outdoor sport, there is plenty of place for running, cycling and hiking. Not to mention pangkor island is right beside the town. This is one of the most underrated town in Malaysia, only local know about it.
Sitiawan? R u working for any job with the Msian navy or something? Well.. Nothing much has change in sitiawan. But they have a huge shipping project nearby

Wow, what a lovely video. Watching you enjoying the nasi lemak from Wanjo had me salivating. I live in the UK and the last time I visited KL was in 2015 but did not venture into Kampong Baru. Can't wait to holiday in KL again and try all the delicious "kampong food".

This is such a heartwarming episode. I have a great relationship with my Father-in-law and he paid for my wife and I's honeymoon accommodation in Hawaii (Kauai). Sadly my wife does not have a great relationship with my parents. So it is a blessing to see the great relationship Dane has with George. Looking forward to episode 2!

One of my favourite holidays EVER was going to Mauritius with my Mauritian born parents because I could then bring to life all the childhood stories they tell you as a kid “oh so that’s where that happened!” George you are awesome! I love this idea.

Happy traveling to Malaysia. Travel appropriately in this country and get all the correct information through local government agencies.
Also please go travel to Melaka and try the traditional food like "Dodol", "Asam Pedas" and Kuih Serabai. 😊
You can try go to Taman Mini Malaysia, a village made to bring together the culture and traditional houses of the states in Malaysia
• Melaka also had "Pusat Konservasi dan Penerangan Penyu, Melaka" ( Turtle Conservation and Information Center, Melaka ).
As far as I know, for now admission is still free.
