I have had mine about ten days. (sorry, I didn't see this sooner. But actually applied a discount from someone else). I've spent a little time everyday since it arrived and feel confident I bought THE RIGHT piece for me. It is freaking FUN.
The range finder plus ballistic calculator for 1000 is worth it alone just to get a hold. Combat application just aim at the blob and send multiple rounds. I love it . The goal is to get the nice pulsar version but this I think I will add just to have an extra and good starting point
Hey if your video is lagging when watching the scope on your phone if you have iOS you have to click on the information button near the scopes WiFi name in the iOS settings then turn private WiFi address and limit ip tracking off .that should fix the 3second lag issue.i have two and there’s no lag at all
That's great. I didn't know this existed. It's tough to keep up with all this stuff. I was only aware of the ATN scopes, and all the reviews on those have been pretty terrible in terms of reliability. Is this company better? Will it continue to work if the company ceases to exist or the phone app stops working? How's the battery life? Is it heavy?
I’ve been looking at night vision lately, but products that need a smart phone to work is and will always be a problem for me as I don’t have a smart phone. Done want one, don’t need one. I do wonder if firmware can be updated without a phone, but with a Windows computer?
I will not own any high value device that is dependent apon a smart phone or app. I've had lower value imaging devices (bore scope and airflow calculator) that became obsolete when the app was no longer supported.
@@TopShotDustin Nope. Old RC has better and more in depth UI on worse hardware with more options and no app or phone needed. App/Phone means planned obsolescence and no support after a year or two. No to mention the security and privacy risks.
@@hahahano2796app or phone means the ability to update and input data with a big screen and keyboard on the go and possibly do updates. On the go. ... my sena motorcycle headset is 10 years old and has had an app. That's 5 times past your planned obsolescence.

Really happy the thermal market is picking up
Right??
@@TopShotDustin I honestly didn’t expect thermal and IR combos for years and definitely not at this price point. I-ray has one too. 2200ish $

The firmware can only be updated via windows computer.
You only need a smartphone for the ballistics calculator programming.
@@TopShotDustin Thanks for the quick reply. That helps a lot.

Seems like the thing holding back the thermal view is focusing the image.
focus and low resolution seem the same.
I can’t seem to get the promo code to work.
🤔 TopShot10 worked just fine for me just now 🤷♂️
Good to put on 30-06 ?
Yup
Is it rated for larger calibers/recoil such as .308?
Yup

@@TopShotDustin That's pretty nice rifle, and the optic is darn cool too! That ballistic calculator made me drool a bit. 😂
Was that a Fox?
Yes
OSM 😘💕👍👍
Do you have a hunting channel also?
Nope.
@TopShotDustin to bad 😅
Once I hear or read "app" or "phone" I don't purchase.
Curious to how you are watching. Is it on a phone through and AP?

Items such as these are where using air-gapped or offlined phones or tablets are useful. No direct back door at the low, low cost of
I also say no to app only interface but if it also has built-in menus that allow you to use it without a smart phone I'm fine with it.
