I bought one about 2 months ago and i love it. Every feature you could want all in 1 unit. I also had a 10% off coupon and free shipping. Got mine for under $1,000 shipped.
I have mine calibrated for 2 different 5.56 rounds. You can store 5 different ballistic calibrations in its setting that you can switch between on the fly. The optic says its rated to handle 50 BMG, so im sure its good for 308. It comes with a 2 year warranty. I wish it was lifetime, but its an amazing value for the price. @justletmeinnow100
I bought one two months ago. I can't believe DNT managed to get SO much in a 7-inch package. The function buttons are very ergonomic and intuitive. I got tired of waiting for "the next best, better thing" to get affordable. The TNC225R hit ALL the right buttons and AFFORDABLE. OBTW, the DNT team has a new unit in reproduction. It won't be available in the U.S. for about a year, maybe more. THIS is the one to buy. To say the least, I'm thrilled with what I can do with this.
@@RickheadWashington a CZ American .17HMR, (squirrel/rabbit gun) an AR15 5.56 20-inch in an M16A1 configuration (range sight in), and an AR platform in 7.62x39 16-inch CHF barrel (range sight in). Additionally, range time was to validate the LRF and the ballistics calculator for .17HMR, 5.56 55gr, 5.56 62gr, 7.62x39 123gr/124gr. It all works as advertised. Quite happy with the results. At max magnification it does pixilate a bit, but a small adjustment in focus helps.
Thanks for your review! I have seen mostly new people and airgunners talking about this gun. I am still worried about putting this on larger caliber rifles, I have heard a couple of issues with recoil turning it off every shot.
Could you give a little more explanation on the different IR emitters and when you might you one wavelength versus another? Looked at DNT's website and didn't see any explanation.
Well if anybody else in your pvp is using night vision the ir so bright you look like a light house so in a pvp situation I advise don’t use the ir it’ll get you capped by a camper
You cannot get thermal for under $700. Any cheap thermal besides for this NDX will be awful quality and not even hold zero from recoil shock. Also, when it comes to night vision and thermal optic technology, the features are actually very cheap, so you won’t get a lower price by having less features, because it is all just software files and the same display screen. Optics like this are entirely priced on the hardware. You can find cheap night vision. Cheap night vision will still suck though, and you’re better off with just using a red-tint spotlight for 25 bucks. Thermal is far different from night vision, if you’re new to this. $1,000 is an insanely good price for an optic of this quality!! All other manufacturers are just keeping the same inflated price because they can, but NDT is showing the market that they aren’t afraid to only mark up their product by a small percentage.
I have one , its blah , maybe if u plan to use it for 100 yards , quality is mediocre, or maybe I'm just spoiled with 3k units But basically guys this k of this unit as homedepot john deere and actual john deere sold by john deere , you will have all this options in the optic but quality sux , byild quality blah, sensor they use sux , you can't expect all the gadgets in one tube and trying to do it all good , its pretty much a toy.

What caliber are you running? I was thinking about swapping getting it for a 308 but I have heard that it has some issues with larger calibers.
DITTO. I'm having a ball with mine!
@@justletmeinnow100 I've run mine on a .17HMR, 5.56 NATO, and 7.62x39 (AR) for target and ballistic verification. NO ISSUES.

Does the ir show up on other night vision systems? Since it is an ir light
Very good review, gave enough info to dig into and see if it's fore
This seems like a great all in one unit to get started on NV and therm. I'd definitely be interested in picking one up.
Range might be limited in them and not crazy about IR but packaged with the other options a grand is pretty economical.
You ckio a better IR on th 11:12 e side.. and there are 2 other models coming on yhe market now
I like this. This looks very interesting
A great option!!
Nice set up.

What have you put this on? Or just used it as a handheld? Was thinking or getting one for an ar-10 build. Does it get grainy when zoomed in? Thanks

Really cool toy
How long do the batteries last?
Bet these things are on Ali baba for two benj.
I looked last week as it is around 2K here in Aussieland, could not find it on Alibaba or Aliexpress, as yet. But only a matter of time.
Aliexpress ain't what it use to be. Now most of there stuff is higher than Wally world
If it really works, thats a good deal. Others with similar specs are well over 2k
What's the battery set up? Hopefully rechargeable.
Flat top 18650 batteries, to your question: Yes.
Mine came with 2 18650 flat top batteries AND charger. You can not charge the battery through the unit.

@avgshooter2010 THAT by itself is a testament... those literally eat optics. Thanks
Alot of features

Waiting for it to advance to helmet mounted sized.
Bigfoot doesn’t stand a chance.
now that is cool to bad I'm a loser
Too much money at $1000. Do they have any more simple products for less? I'd love to find decent hand held night scope for $200 or so?
