    We came to this park for 3 weeks, stayed for 3 months, and ended up buying a park model at the end of our stay. It's a great park, fantastic people. There are multiple happy hours every day, and anybody is welcome at any of them, just bring a drink and a chair! It is also one of the cleanest parks we have ever seen, the staff is constantly patrolling and maintaining. We look forward to many many years of great times here! Live music every Saturday night, and a cafe where (five days a week) you can buy breakfast and/or lunches at very reasonable prizes! An ice cream social on Wednesday nights, so forget about your diet on Wednesday...we sup on banana splits every time! yes, a little bit of road noise up near the front of the park, but once you get halfway down or near the back, you don't hear it at all...and even on the road, there's WAY WAY less noise than those parks up on 16th or 32nd! We cannot speak highly enough of Del Pueblo!

    We stayed at one similar to this with a lot of great amenities and sites in Arizona a couple years ago. It was a 55+. Love that they had so much to do. So many seasonals.

    No wonder so many. RVers spend the winter in Arizona. Have to put this on our list, hoping to spend a winter in Arizona in the future. Very nice park.

      Yep we were stationed there back in the 90’s too

      We go to this park, and the planes are surprisingly non-instrusive. You get used to them really quick, and we like to see them fly over. The marine base is actually a few miles to the north.

    Very nice park. I think I would not like being that close to the road either. Probably would be better in the back of the park. Lynn and Danny

      It would have been. The road noise didn’t make sense to is because it was only a 2 lane road IDK?

    You are old enough to be in a 55+ resort?!

    We don't know why RV parks put poles in random places. Did you have trouble getting out of the spot? ~ Shion and Matthew

    • @JarheadAndGingersJourney
      @JarheadAndGingersJourney  ปีที่แล้ว

      Because they are made by people who have never had an RV only reason I ca think of.

    • @musicpoker7822
      @musicpoker7822 ปีที่แล้ว

      That pole is not in a random place...they are carefully placed and painted red so that drivers pulling long rigs can use their rear view mirrors see where their rig is in relation to the curb ... they are essentially protecting any rig parked in an end spot!

    I’ll be PCSing to Yuma in July. Is it survivable to live in your RV full time in the summertime? I am currently a full timer in San Diego.

      People do it. In my experience there will de days up into 120 degrees though and MCAS doesn’t have a fam camp so you will have to stay in town or use the fam camp at YPG about 20-30 miles north.

  • @djinncat
    @djinncat ปีที่แล้ว

    Ironically the red poles are put there to protect your RV from other people not making their turns wide enough.
    Also, do they allow anyone younger than 55 to stay there temporarily?
