@@methodical_66 I already have the whole a2w setup. I've had it since the beginning. It was just going to take much more work to fab the piping and fit the intercooler box in. That's why we went this route first to get it running and driving.

Oh wow. Thats surprising. I've seen almost every trailblazer down here in florida have rear quarter rust. And I know the ones up in the north east are really bad. Maybe it's just certain years.
@J-Whit they will get crusty on the bottom of the doors and rear gate and a little bit on rear quarters but compare that to the Yukon and suburban and most Ford products it's a wild difference.
yea thats true. mine has some of that on the bootom of the doors on the inside. definietlyon the passenger side floor board area. i need to dedicate a day to putting it on the lift and cleaning it all up.@@joeyh7817
Most definitely keep the stocks as the “drag pack” it’ll look cool I’ve seen a few with a tire on the rears. Loving this channel dude. Informative and you don’t drag shit along you get too it or a small wait.
Sorry to spam the comments but i love giving input especially on these trucks. The door moldings look good if you ask me. The roof rack also. I think a wrap would make it 10x harder to tell
Looks way better man! Can’t wait to see some more driving, Or track testing! Would have been cool to do some before and after passes or even just street dragy or but dyno testing to see if it felt any better when launching or any improvements you noticed! very intrigued with the 4200 🤟🤟🤟
I do regret not getting before dyno numbers, but a few folks out there have bolt on trailblazer dyno numbers so I've used those for reference. Next week we have a track day and I'm pretty excited for that video and what we have planned!
@@J-Whit that’s awesome man! Can’t wait to see it! I love seeing budget style builds! Good luck at the track! It looks so sooo good with the SS wheels! 🤟🤟👍👍
Looks good, I’d definitely leave the side moldings on, I’m sure it’s a lot of work t take them off, then you’re guaranteed parking lot dings once they are gone.
I have the ext carbon copy of your trialblazer! Fun to see what you are doing to yours! Unfortunately the most common gearing with these was the 3.42 ratio non SS.
Amazing video. I just got some wheels. Btw how is the ride. Should I stay with the stock tires or go with the tires you picked out? Let me know thanks.
I like it dude I , I’m fixing to drop my 07 Tahoe and thinking about snagging a trailblazer LS to be a second daily slash build a lot people do ss clones but you don’t see nobody do trail blazer ss clones , kinda crazy but this ss clone definitely got me thinking about doing my own
Imo I’d say go 3.73 gears. Can still get a nice launch and will get slightly better gas mileage. When you’re on the highway you can sit at a lower rpm. Add an oil catch can. I assume you have e-fans already? And a trans cooler is always a good idea
I have a catch can, but im ypgrading it soon. I dotn have efans yet. That and a radiator is coming soon. The only reason i dont want to do 3.73 is because i can throw the 4.10 front and rear diffs in from the ss and call it a day lol
Looks great. Do you know of anyone that sells the parts to lower the rear of the LT 2 inches? I have looked for hours and all I can come up with is getting the 3 inch lowering springs and add a 1 inch lift block. Seems too complicated for what I want. I want the stock front ride height and the rear level with it. Mine has a 2 3/4 inch rake. Way too high in the rear.
@@J-Whit That's the thing. I don't want to lower the front and I don't want a Carolina Squat. So I need to lower the rear 2 inches. Thanks for the replies.
is yours 4wd? i have a 4wd ( want to do a rwd conversion in the future ) and i want to do basically the same thing cosmetically like you did.. any suggestions for suspension parts ?
@J-Whit thanks,my concern is I'm seeing trailblazers with 22s and I want to know if I need to replace or change the tire on the front to a smaller size.
@@J-Whit hahaha cool thanks man. found someone selling em cheap, but was wondering if i had to do any mods or if i could just install in the meantime. thanks again

What do yall think!? Personally, i think it almost looks perfect, just needs the SS front bumper...

I live in Michigan and the gmt360 platform actually resist rust very well compared most other vehicles of the same age.

Always down!
I totally respect what you're doing. You're doing a great job. I love your content. And I'm also 4.2 -L6 Vortech owner.

I'm so tempted to cut the back off one of these but the old pickups are lighter might as well swap instead.
Do the shocks bottom out with the lowered springs or would you recommend getting the lowering shops also thank you
I don't think they've ever bought them out since I've put this on
I wish these 4200 Atlas engines were in some Impalas And Caprices, even the 2006 Monte Carlo SS.
Also my 2003 LS trailblazer was silver on the title but seemed gold-ish silver in person
Great content thank you

Yes. Its 4x4
Yes it does look great so what did you put on in place of the old arm?
Most TBSS's don't have the side moulding but my 06' and my current 08' have them as you can see in my videos.
