The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via CBS All Access, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. Every night, viewers can expect: Comedy, humor, funny moments, witty interviews, celebrities, famous people, movie stars, bits, humorous celebrities doing bits, funny celebs, big group photos of every star from Hollywood, even the reclusive ones, plus also jokes.
About fifteen-ish years ago, I ran Peter Colbert’s rock climbing birthday party at Diamond Rock in East Hanover, NJ. Peter was a perfect B day child and Stephen Colbert was the epitome of class. He met and learned the name of everyone who worked the party and then individually thanked / tipped them handsomely. I was a college kid and a fan of him as a comedian before that party, but I became a fan of Stephen Colbert as person in that day.

@@mewho6199 James Baldwin yeah, hi, born and raised in North Carolina, not too far from where Stephen's from, and I respectfully take issue with you saying most or even a large number of southerners are raised to think or behave like that. There's definitely that reputation, and it's certainly warranted in some more rural areas, but I've lived here for 25 or my 32 years, and I know extremely few people like that. That reputation is long since past it's prime in a majority of the South, except in the very rural areas and Alabama, which we barely count anyway. That would be like me saying most Yankees are raised to be rude, arrogant, belligerent, snobby, judgemental jerks. That's just a stereotype that's only true of a small minority, and those people exist everywhere. On the whole, southerners ARE raised to be respectful, polite, friendly, and more and more open minded, and not all of us like guns, believe in God, or oppose gay marriage, or care about race, at all, or oppose abortion. It's present, yes, unfortunately, but it's not the cultural norm at all to be as you described.
Please kindly think of who all you're judging before you roast an entire segment of the population. You might be missing out on decent people.

Not saying Stephen wouldn’t be great as prez, but let’s be honest. Trump’s problem (I know. He has too many) isn’t that he’s not calm; in fact, I wish he’d get more terrified at the virus. He, like too many other leaders, are just too selfish to do something long-term. They care too much about how a weak economy would reflect on them politically.
That being said, I do also wish there were more people like Stephen in positions of power, especially in the room inside White House that we’re all thinking about.

I realise Stephen had a live audience for his shows, (in the before times,) but I'm actually enjoying the lack of audience applause and laughter. I'd rather not have a studio audience who are instructed to laugh/applaud at certain times and I certainly don't want canned laughter. When something is funny I laugh, if it isn't I don't want to listen to other people laughing or applauding something I wouldn't, not that this is a problem with Stephen, he's just so f'ing funny.

Having this show on TH-cam is helping me so much. Colbert really expresses how I feel about all this. Love the humor! Being able to laugh in these times is really important and also catching the underlining truths in the sarcasm (which Colbert is so good at) is needed! Reminds us we are all in this together.

I love the fact that Jon Batiste (or whatever his name is) isn't on set as well, he's always making nonsensical comments or interrupting, it'd be nice if he just stuck to his music.
