As you know, the giraffe is monovivo, other examples are the panda bear that only eats bamboo, or the koala, a marsupial that feeds on eucalyptus, sometimes they supplement their diet even with bones or meat but not more than 1 to 5%. There was a case in a giraffe reserve, in which, as there were not enough acacia trees, they continued to feed on the ones that were there, I guess they endured the bitter taste, because they had no choice, then the acacia tree developed a toxin, there was an outbreak epidemic of poisoned giraffes that regulated the population; Until then I saw the report, I don't know if they extended the reserve area more, or planted more trees, or distributed the giraffes in other reserves, or simply let them free... an antidote would not have been the solution because eventually, the available trees they would have finished. I do not have the source of this research, but I do not think it will be difficult to find it since it is a paradigmatic study.

How do you know that is a fact? Plants communicating with other plants like a human warning another there is a guy with a gun shooting people in a basement of a building 300 feet from where they are standing. We can do that but can plants? We cannot communicate with plants so how can we perceive their way of communication if we can't communicate through perception?
