    Btw.: Trees talk to each other via a sophisticated communication system. Some researchers call it the Wood Wide Web, the Internet of the forest. ... But trees can also communicate over the air, so to speak, over W-LAN. For example, they emit scents that warn conspecifics of pests.....

    I think it's safe to say at this point it is probably faster to count all the documentaries David Attenborough hasn't narrated than the ones he has.
    Sagan, Cousteau, Hawking and Attenborough. All of them had a HUGE impact on what I thought about the world around me when I was younger up and to this very day..

    I once cut a small cottonwood next to a pond and the stump was pumping water out like a heartbeat. I’ve seen water come out of trees a little but i never seen it pump out of a stump make knocking noise.
