- Bet you never thought you'd see an ant twerk! But when you live in the land of giants, you have to get creative to protect your family and your home. These daring acacia ants aren't afraid to venture where many wouldn't, and for a bug so tiny, they pack a sharp sting. It may be enough to deter the elephant, but at what cost?

The cameraman risked his life so he could film inside the elephant’s trunk. Proof the cameraman never dies
My only explanation is that they recreated what it would look like but idk thats not like nat geo to do that
@@tosha9994 It's a new world with Unreal Engine 5, and generative AI. They must somehow make use of these in order to up the ante (pun intended) 😅.
Unless they're Clancy from Re 7
wrgg
Hats off to the film crew. That was one of the best footage I've seen
Do you want them to say thanks so you can feel special? Hahahaha
@Michael-hb3ip it's called feedback. I'm sure they measure it in a dozen different ways and is no doubt critical to creating content on a network as big* as Nat Geo.
@@Michael-hb3ipdid you comment just to get attention?
About 10% of that footage was real
"Strange time to twerk" had me chuckling Lol Involuntary twerking 😆
The camera they use is insane
No, it's super-natural
It’s a lense actually can be used on most cameras lol
NatGeo: Simply the best. Enjoy every single moment.
Super footage, but anyone who has to battle ants in the house every spring will root for the elephant every time!
Yaaaas
I lost it at 'strange time to twerk' xD Never expected this much sass from natgeo
Awesome achievement of protecting family and the the host (acacia trees).
Still wondering how they did inside the trunk
There's no way this live footage. No way! How did they follow those ants into the trunk? This is amazing CGI though. Has to be Unreal Engine 5.
Good recording, it's amazing how animals protect themselves !
I cant believe twerk is a real term now
How did they film inside the trunk? That's crazy 😲
Good question! Lol
There are two holes, simple...
Elephants are huge, so maybe cameraman was short enough to fit inside the trunk 🙂
That’s what I’m saying
Maybe fabricated ?
That was intense
That dying ant scene was on par with when that ewok couldn't wake up his mate in SWe6
Excellent photography and videography... Enjoy this video on Thanksgiving.
I nominate this best short movie in the animal kingdom!! 🎥 Remarkable footage!!
Wow, whoever was filming is brave! Got right up into the elephants nose and shook around. The real winner here is whoever was filming this lol, I'd be scared of being stomped squashed or who knows what xD
Ceara has questions...
Ants - End Game
I LOVE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC❤❤❤😊
Wow..🤩🤩
Very wonderful videography..
Superb 👌🏻👌🏻🙏🏻😇
Very superb content
Love to know about this..👏🏻👏🏻🥰
My nostrils were swelling just watching this.
This is totally amazing! How can they film this scene inside the elephant nose?
Imagine being on a planet where you live in a gigantic tree.
Beautifully filmed😊.
Wow, spectacular
This was pretty much a Marvel movie script 😄
Yeah
an entier colony of queen ants!!
crazy stuff, that must be the 1st one in history..
WOW.....THAT WAS AMAZING.....
I 💚 WILDLIFE / NATURE 💚

Thank U......
Good video and good photography .... Thanksgiving this video ....
Quando la siccità...è al massimo le

WOW!!!!!! 😮
What I need is the camera they use😅
Amazing bideo
POOR ANTES
Would it be "insect cruelty" if NatGeo could do a documentary about ants or other insects that are being fried, cooked and consumed in certain parts of the world? I'm already imagining the slow motion of the ants being thrown into the frying pan with some classical music (cliche) in the background. Well, maybe it's kinda cruel. 🤷♂
❤❤❤
I bet the filmmakers had a great time torturing the ants to get that perfect footage of simulated conflict
Ofcourse
I am so confused as to how on earth was this film
Is this AI narration?
Seems like every PBS/Naturalist/YT/whatever mainstream channel has the same model of people narrating. At least let me pretend that the narrator has actually been out of the city before or has actually been on the planet long enough to understand some basic natural concepts and consequences. I miss Attenborough and Freeman and the like. As a kid this would have turned me off immediately as it sounds like the average curricular dribble from the average unhappy bureaucrat that thought themselves a teacher.
👏😲💕
Glad the elephant wins. Yes
😀👏
Well no offense to anyone, but if I were a hungry elephant and something was preventing me from eating what I want, I'd destroy everything in my path to.
From the looks of it, he did just that
Well yeah, there are rarely free meals in the wild. Everyone has to fight to survive.

Hola,me pueden decir que esoecies son esas hormigas?
El nombre del video dice "acacia ants"
@@adrianaperezsolorio4320 ay no me di cuenta 🤭
Es que cuando lo busco no me sale la hormiga del video me sale otra
Not for kids
Twerk and booty shake? Could we get an adult who uses real adult words next time on the commentary next time? I mean unless your target audience is 15 years old then your right on track.
❤I really appreciate your video, and in the coming time, I also have some exciting videos about different ant species and natural ecosystems! I hope you'll engage too, and I'm eager to learn more! Thank you for your interest. ❤🔥🥰
Staging wildlife videography is a new low. I've lost what little respect I still had for NatGeo
lol
Strange time to twerk lol!!!
wrrr
It's amazing what God has created ❤
Ant = 0
elephant = 1
cameraman = 1
The video is great but the commentary is very inappropriate and unprofessional! It's right to have "light" and kind of funny approach but this just sounds bad

Must be CGI. There's just no way! 🤯
@@ntruter42 sounds reasonable
Dont like CGI in animal documents
Personally, I'm not a fan of hearing the words Vibes, Twerk, and Booty Shake in my nature documentary.
