    Hello doctor, thanks for the video so i have a problem of a bad mouth smell: i have also a chronical rhinitis allergie,
    mucus from allergic rhinitis flows mainly to the back of the throat with a salty taste, I once resorted to antibiotics after purulent sinusitis, after healing there was no bad breath, then allergic rhinitis to resumed slightly and the bad smell too, now I have bad breath and fatigue, the upper wisdom teeth have not appeared, there are only the wisdom teeth of the mandible semi included in the gums (they do not smells not bad because I checked several times with a cotton swab) bad breath is mostly localized in the left side of the throat near the tonsil. I also have flatulence problem. please can you help me?

    So if the left frontal sinus is completely blocked by a polyp, would the air not filter inside the left nostril?

    • @PeterCasano
      @PeterCasano  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the polyp is high in the frontal recess it may not necessarily block any airflow at all, it would usually block the mucous drainage from the frontal sinus, potentially cause buildup of fluid, thickening of the mucous membrane of that sinus, and often lead to infection. If the polyp was hanging down lower it could block airflow. Not sure if thats your question or not. The drainage of the sinuses is covered in my other videos better... petercasano.com/Nasal_Anatomy_and_Function.html

    • @oscarriley465
      @oscarriley465 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PeterCasano Thank-you for the reply. My polyp has completely blocked my left frontal
      Sinus, I know these frontal sinuses are air filters so I’m wondering because it’s blocked the air isn’t being filtered when I breathe and also mucous is not draining so this is leading to my left nostril becoming dry and stuffy?

    • @PeterCasano
      @PeterCasano  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@oscarriley465 they really aren’t filters. It doesn’t really work like that. Watch my other videos perhaps.

    • @oscarriley465
      @oscarriley465 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PeterCasano I’ve watched the videos I think there air filled sinuses and they can get blocked by polyps which results in them unable to drain into the nose and causes air flow problems?

    I did an operation 6 years ago, I was feeling short of breath, and when I went to a doctor, he told me that you have enlarged nasal cartilage, deformities in the nasal septum, and a broken bone inside the nose. I did this operation, and I started to feel that there was no improvement as I thought in the first place. The doctor did a complete removal of the nasal cartilages and a rigid tightening inside the nose, and this tension has not felt like this before, and this tightening is described as the skin and flesh breaking off with the face, and also pressure on the eyes, and this causes me to not focus. I hope, Doctor, solve this problem as soon as possible, because it destroyed my life 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
