It's pretty interesting how people initially react to Oboro moving even after having his head pierced with a sword but they quickly seem to forget it because the main story was always free of supernatural elements until this point. They probably thought Gintoki missed, like he just missed his head coz it's inside a helmet. But we all know Oboro did get stabbed, and got healed off with his Utsuro blood. Still, a nice detail to note.
