Wait - where does it say left to right?? I've just looked again and I still can't see it 🤣 I believe you tho! So funny when we watch things back and see things that are so o b v i o u s that we can't believe we missed it first time!
@@christinerobson oh my GOODNESS it couldn't be more obvious could it 🤣😅 wow we really just... ignored that very obvious direction 🤪 altho I should say that's Gareth's hand pointing on the right! Our faces are mirrored on the small screen at the top-left, so my hands are on the left of the big picture and Gareth's on the right. We get really confused sometimes when we switch between the two views altho alas, the big oops you spotted here was nothing to do with that and everything to do with lack of observation skills 🤩thanks so much for watching, and great spot!!!!
I recently just came across your videos of solving many of the Exit games, and I must say, I thoroughly enjoy watching Laura and you go through these games. You are both great at solving them (which makes sense haha)! I struggle with these games at times, but the way the two of you break down the puzzles and riddles in your videos makes it seem so easy! Please continue making these videos, and I hope to see the two of you solve The Catacombs of Horror sometime in the future. :)
Hi! Thanks so much for commenting, and that's very kind of you! :) This one has been waiting since March for me to edit it, but the good news is we recorded three new solves today and so these, along with other recordings from earlier this year that I haven't yet edited, should mean that now I (hopefully!) finally have some time to edit these again that they will become weekly once more. Fingers crossed! :)
Thoroughly enjoyable as always, This is a game I was thinking of getting but I watched you guys complete it instead.Glad I did as it looked a bit to complicated for me.❤
The one thing we don't do in the videos very often is take the hints, but I do think the games are actively designed for you to use them when you need them - so as long as the hints are good, the games should always be accessible to anyone by virtue of how many hints they take. :) Maybe we should review the hints some time, to see whether we think they're helpful or not. ;) (Although on the occasions I've used them, I actually normally find they tell me what I already know... but where they can be particularly helpful in an Exit box is in the ones where the material is out of order, letting you know what to focus on)
Thank you for watching! I loved this box, but I agree that there's a lot going on. We didn't even really get stuck on this one but it took a long time to get through it! I feel like there's more content to work with in the more recent EXIT boxes, but i'm not complaining 🤩
I finished this with friends before. There was a lot of worlds. The final puzzle was something I would never have thought, haha. Side thing but if you haven't heard of Professor Puzzle's Curse of the Dark, you two HAVE to try it! I just finished it and it was AWESOME! Look it up!
Thanks so much for commenting! And yes, I do have that on my shelf - in fact, you can see it in my solo videos, such as this one: th-cam.com/video/a48jmJvnFM0/w-d-xo.html - it's just to the left of my head at the start! :) (In the ones with Laura my head is blocking it). I've found other Professor Puzzle ones a bit perfunctory, but I've been meaning to try this one so thanks for the recommendation! :)
@drgareth oh I haven't played that cat short so I haven't seen Curse in the back. My powers of observation probably would have failed me anyhow, haha But yes, do play Curse in the Dark! It's wonderfully realized and fairly dramatic. Some puzzles for me were jaw dropping. It's 22 puzzles so there's a recommend stop point in the middle.
Thanks for commenting, and we're so glad you enjoyed it! I'm a big fan of the Exit games and am yet to find one I really didn't like - and this one was great because we didn't get stuck. :)
That's a popular request, and we actually did play through that back in March this year - but the two videos (for it will be two, one for each part) are still awaiting me to edit and upload them! :) I think that most likely the next video I edit will be Exit: The Hunt Through Amsterdam, but then I do plan to (finally!) do the two parts of the Catacombs of Horror.
This was my third Exit and the one that sold me on the series. I wish I wasn't so dense on the last one. Didn't know it was possible to take the decoder disk apart, and ended up reading the solution card, so I missed out on the effect, but the variety of riddles in this was quite good. Now if the circuits riddle hadn't been so fiddly (and I didn't realize I should have left the insert in, so the board kept on folding itself closed), it would have been perfect.
I know what you mean! The first few times I solved Exit games I coudn't believe that we'd be taking things apart, but the more I play the more I know what the possibilities might be! I'm glad it didn't put you off though... I loved this box! Thanks for watching :)
Yes, I don't think I would have been able to solve the puzzle where the disc comes apart without a hint if I hadn't already done the same thing in another Exit game.
The flip side of this is now we often try to take the decoder disk apart/check it's not double-sided in games where it's not required! But always good to check!
Another great video but i was screaming at my phone when Laura put her finger right next to where it said 'left to right' at 29:38 😂
Wait - where does it say left to right?? I've just looked again and I still can't see it 🤣 I believe you tho! So funny when we watch things back and see things that are so o b v i o u s that we can't believe we missed it first time!
@@LauraPuzzles under the moon icon on the page it says 'from left to right' 😅

Awwww thank you so much! What kind words. Thank you for watching and tuning in! And thank you for the reccomendation.... watch this space!! 🥰
Exactly what Laura said - thank you so much for your comment! And The Catacombs of Horror should be coming soon...! :)
Hello, soo good to see both of you solving puzzles ❤❤ these content always make my day 😊

Thank you for watching!! I thought this one was great too. Loved jumping around the stories when the time came!
the next exit i'd like you to play next is the catacombs of horror
