Thanks so much! That's good to hear because I was a little concerned the last 10 minutes or so might be a bit frustrating when we're not making much progress! :) Thanks for commenting!
It's amazing how our brains can work so differently sometimes, I spent endless time on the 5th puzzle and you didn't, and I quickly found the next one and you didn't (lol). But all in all, I really enjoyed the game, and I can see from the comments that I'm not the only one. I can't wait to find out what happens next... Thanks for all the fun, you're my favorite channel in the genre, and your duo are quite a pair. 😊👍
Awww thank you for your kind words, and for watching!! I agree this was a fun one although watching it back I also can't believe some of the things we got stuck on 🤣thanks for tuning in, and we'll see you for part 2!!
When I watch the videos back to edit out the faffing-around bits, I'm often shaking my head at what seems really obvious on re-watching. :) This one was particularly bad for that! But thank you so much for your kind comments - that's a lovely thing to say and here's to many more videos I hope! :)
I really want it to be Advent already so I can start on the new Exit Advent :) but in the meantime I'm glad to say that part 2 of the Catacombs solve is now edited and will appear online tomorrow. ;)
The diagonal blue line one definitely tripped me up. I forgot there were two sets of letters on the poster and also ended up accidentally taking the last card. Both columns are actually used, with the left one serving as a space (hence the lack of a blue letter).
Thanks for commenting, and yes you're right. I think the puzzle with the blue diagonal is okay but I think with that type of thing the design would be better if it was obvious if you have all the pieces or not - to avoid completely unnecessary frustration, if nothing else. Having one without blue on, and being able to form other numbers, is a bit of a design risk.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it - and there's a part 2 to follow too, since this particular Exit box is split into two separate parts. (Although you do collect some of the material for the second part while playing the first part, perhaps a little confusingly!)
@@drgareth to be honest, more the videos of you two playing together, merrier it is. I hope this year too you would do some interesting puzzle advent calendars.
That's very kind of you to say, and I'm so glad you enjoy them! It's lots of fun to make them too, and I have to say I am also really looking forward to getting started on the Exit Advent calendar! :)
@@drgareth if possible, do these with Laura too this year. The chemistry in your videos is such a magic. Also, recently bought two books of yours for my son from Amazon India. Loved them.
Haha - and yes, especially ironic after we discussed the letters more than usual! Thank goodness we didn't need them for the 'take everything' puzzle or else it would have been even more annoying! :)
Hahahhaha sorry for any undue stress caused. We always watch the videos back all the way through and there are so many times where we've gone WOW how did we not see that 🤣 yelling at our past selves too! Thanks so much for watching - hope you enjoyed the rest! 😅
Cannot wait for part 2, keep it up, I'm enjoying your video both. Looking forward for the advent calendars this year! I suggest make a short promo for them to get more attention!
Thank you so much, and me too on both fronts! :) And by a promo, do you mean a short video that just talks about how I'm going to be solving the calendar? I'm not much of an expert on TH-cam so if you know some way to help attract viewers then I'd be happy to learn! ;) Perhaps a TH-cam Short?
Oooooh, I love an Orient-Express theme. We're going to try and do all the Exit games eventually, so watch this space! And thanks for watching this one 😊
Yes - it's perhaps a bit of a spoiler, but there's another Exit game with a special surface on one of its components. With SO many other Exit games, however, I think that this doesn't really give anything away. Nonetheless, I should have cut that comment - sorry!
Oh right, well then no spoilers for you so that's good! :) I think this is one thing that's much easier when not on a camera, since we are looking at the screen not the components (usually) which does tend to flatten everything somewhat.
As always you guys made this so entertaining.Great job and i look forward to part 2 next week.
Thanks so much! That's good to hear because I was a little concerned the last 10 minutes or so might be a bit frustrating when we're not making much progress! :) Thanks for commenting!
Yayyyy, thanks for watching! See you for part 2!! 🤩
This was fun. First time I've seen a 2 parter exit game. Look forward to your next video!
I think it's the only 2-parter one, or at least that's officially split into two parts in any case. And thank you so much !:)
Thanks for watching!! 🥰
now don't forget part 2
Yes, fair comment! We've already recorded it so it will follow shortly! :)
We won't! See you there!! 😄

Ooooo! This looks exciting! The duo is back with one more exciting exit adventure. Can't wait to finish watching this.

@@photoutsav5534 Thank you so much for watching, and good luck with the books! 😊
Really enjoyed this escape room puzzle. I was LITERALLY screaming take cards J & Z. 😅😅

Sorry I haven't watched any of the videos for awhile! I'll try to catch up. This one looks interesting, it is a popular one...
No worries and thanks for commenting - I hope you enjoy them when you do have a chance to catch up!
Thanks for watching, and hope you enjoy!
two more exit stories i want to hear next: death at the orient express and kidnapped in fortune city
Oooooh, I love an Orient-Express theme. We're going to try and do all the Exit games eventually, so watch this space! And thanks for watching this one 😊
They're on my shelves so we will definitely solve them at some point! Thanks so much for commenting! :)
Wonderful videos as always!
Thank you, and thanks for watching!! 🤩
Fun fact: Ben is the same person you meet in Professor's Last Riddle
Good to know! He's obviously a complete liability! :)
Oooooh good spot! Thanks for watching!
Other scratch off?
