I really like the translation of the Gita by Stephen Mitchell. The original is a poem, and he maintained it as a poem in English. That is incredible. Also, the layout of the text is like a poem grouped and he makes great use of white space. It makes the Gita so accessible and a pleasure to read!

Krishna’s whole presentation shows the plurality of spiritual paths though he focuses on himself a bit, him saying all paths lead to him ultimately verifies we can all chose what vehicle we take even if they appear contradictory on the surface they all lead to the same goal whatever you call it. Like the theistic approach’s while containing profound wisdom have plenty of problems that can’t be bridged by the average person which texts like purana’s shouldn’t be taken literal anyway. I personally float to the traditions that deal with things more in a “scientific” way like Advaita Vedanta. Even still the Bhakti traditions wether Krishna or Shiva always have a deep pull that can’t be denied. Also whoever says meditation isn’t relevant is clearly not paying attention.

We never said if u pray Buddha Jesus or Prophet u won't attain salvation. It is once Karma which decides the date.
I think one can only have faith on God when he/she will know God. Because faith means complete devotion, no ifs and buts. We can also see its example in Bhagwat Gita where Arjun had got faith in Krishna when he himself show the " viswa ruup" (comic form of Shri Krishna). Whereas, knowledge given by Krishna was only able to clear the blockage of his brain and mind. But, the reality is faith arise in our heart not mind, which can only activated on self realisation. So, the process is: Knowing (through meditation). ⬇️ Faith (complete devotion)., which leads to worship. But, almost everyone starts worshipping God without knowing which leads them in blind believes and unrealistic concept which they themselves don't know totally and correctly that's why by passing time/era the main core of the concept got corrupted. And, if someone in millions, wants to follows the path from first step that's meditation, they get distracted by wrong concept of doing meditation and fake meditation gurus. This happens because people gets some experiences by cutting off them from world and focusing on one things either that is mantra, breathing,yogic postures and techniques. Yes, it works but it like a sand granule on a infinite beach. The actual mediation is not concentrating on any "one thing” (change with different techniques). Whereas meditation is about only seeing and experiencing the happening, without attachment with thought, breathe, heart beats etc. Meditation means..... Only watchfulness. Only conscious. No attachment with inner thought. No sense of what's mine and what's not. May this explanation and experience will help anyone to find correct path know (THE ULTIMATE REALITY). 😊Thank you!!😊
