- A sprawling mountain with excellent views. This is the REAL DEAL. Nestled in the heart of Scotland's Northwest Highlands, Moruisg rises to 928 meters, and offers hikers a majestic vista of the rugged landscape. As you ascend its steep, heather-clad slopes from Glen Carron, the path transforms from a boggy scramble to a serene ridge walk, culminating in a broad, flat summit adorned with ancient cairns. On clear days, the summit reveals a breathtaking panorama: the Torridon peaks stand sentinel against the sky, while the remote mountains of the north stretch out in silent grandeur. Though often understated in guidebooks, Moruisg’s sweeping views and the tranquil beauty of its surroundings captivate the soul, making every step of the climb a poetic journey through the heart of Scotland's wild allure

Another great video Calum ,thanks for posting 👍
Epic shots Calum! Congrats on reaching the summit mate
You are too kind, thanks so much for watching! Have you had any exciting adventures of late?
Good stuff Calum. 1:14 haha, oof, right at the start of the walk too. Squelchy day out. Got some waterproof socks recently, but not fallen in any bogs yet to test them out.
I like to avoid bogs personally, but sometimes you cannot help it. Luckily Alan dried out by the time we got the summit. Thanks for watching :)
Nipped over from the FB group, brilliant video mate!
Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words :)
First 😆 Thanks for the video, ATB, Angus
Thanks for stopping by and watching Angus! ATB x
Nice one, again. Great dog. 😊
Wee RHU is the star of the video for sure. Thanks so much for watching pal :)
Great video 👍🙂
Thanks so much my friend :)
Thank you and well done 👏 it’s good know about the bog for future reference, 🥾🏴
Cheers Janice! Yeah, I read lots of reports that the bog was bad... and while it is HORRENDOUS, it's reasonably short lived. Thanks for watching :)
When I did this round years ago the second hill was indeed a Munro. If it hadn’t been we might have missed it out, silly purists that we were. The Corbett is in my view the better of the two hills. I don’t remember the bog funnily enough, just that steep direct climb up Coruisk in the clag. Fortunately the skies cleared at the top and the walk on to the Corbett was great. Once again you’ve managed to rekindled great memories so thanks.
I would agree... I think the Corbett is the better hill too. I'm so delighted that were able to relive some nice memories. Thanks for watching :)
Looks like a great day
It really was a great day, we had loads of fun. It is lovely to share these adventures with some good people! Thanks for watching :)
Calum I love your videos, I’m not a mountain climber but my boyfriend is and we so enjoy watching you. No matter the conditions, you’re always smiling 😁 I hope Harry Gow gives you a years supply of dream rings for the last video 😂👌🏻
Seonaid, you are very kind. I really appreciate you saying that, and for watching my videos. How can you not smile when in the Scottish Mountains? We have some magical landscapes. Have you not been tempted to get out into the hills with your boyfriend? And... If you want to email HARRY GOW's and ask them to sponsor me, then that would be grand with me, HA!
@@calumpaterson123 Calum, Ben has some choice words about when a smile might vanish, polite translation is….when the rain is running down your butt cheeks and the view is non existent 😂 I fear to say, I think I may be forced up a mountain in the near future….i can’t promise there will be a smile on my face 😂 and I most certainly will email Harry Gow 👌🏻
Envy.
One happy dog as well. Won't need a walk later.
Wee RHU could've kept going for hours... when we got home he was still keen to play with the ball in the garden, while the rest of us were all burst, HA!
The Ronnie is the finest of the 2. 😎👌
Couldn't agree more Kev. Cheers for watching pal... hopefully catch up with you in the hills someday.
