    I love it, I've had plenty of F-bodys and still even today. These really are outstanding in so many ways, although they've gotten a bit expensive. At the same time it's a lot of car for the money, they have always been an incredible bang for the buck. Lastly, I honestly don't care what GM does with the design, I trust them. I just hope Chevrolet continues to make them.

    I just bought one last week. An SS in 'Orange Crush'. I took it to a friend who changed out the air intake with a larger one. Then dialed it in & now instead of 450 horsepower I get 510! Even tho the Challenger scat cat is a 6.4 liter to my 6.2 I've taken it (Challenger) down every single time!!! It does however, suck the gas!!

    • @SSGTA440
      @SSGTA440 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, but the Challenger weighs 800 pounds more than the Camaro....put 800 pounds into the Camaro, then see what happens.......Camaro weighs 3650, Challenger is about 4450....the hemi will always make more power.....the cross port cylinder heads on the Dodge are way superior.

    My last 4 cars: 2014 Mustang GT track pack manual. 2015 Mustang GT performance pack manual. Then I test drove a 2017 Camaro SS 6 speed and was done. I drove it 3 years and 45,000 miles, two HPDE events, once to the dragstrip. I just traded it in 2 weeks ago for a 2020 Camaro SS 1LE 6 speed in rally green metallic. It is just unbelievable. I did some power mods to my 17 Camaro just a few months ago, which I regret for two reasons. One, because I didn't get squat for them on trade. Two, my new one feels slow, which means I'll have to spend that money again!! If you haven't driven the 1LE version, it will mess you up. If your heart was racing in the regular SS, wait til you drive a 1LE. Note: 6 speed manual only.

    I agree with the styling comment. I'm a baby boomer and Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers, etc. were some of the hottest cars when I was young but now they look old. I don't want retro styling. I want something with modern performance and looks state of the art! These cars were state of the art 40 years ago. The new Corvette is a step in the right direction. GM, Ford, Dodge, Etc. you need to build exotic looking cars for the younger generation and make them want cool cars or just build Prius clones.

    So I've got a '19 SS1LE. The Recaros are spectacular, plus it's a Six-Speed. Glad you enjoyed it.

    Been a Mustang fan my whole life but I have to say the interior and feel of the Camaro is so much better. However...the blind spot from the front pillars is insane, the head unit points downwards for some strange reason and the trunk needs a wider opening because although you "could" fit suitcases in there, you cant because of the way the trunk is designed. Besides that though...such an amazing vehicle.

    Thumbs up for the "lane keep assist mini rant" and the car! My complaint would be the unpractically small truck opening.

    I swear, I've been to over 200 abandoned warehouses, and all of them are abandoned. None of them have Sarah. SMH, can't wait to meet up one day. Till then I'll keep checking random abandoned warehouses.

    Despise Camaros - the owners/drivers are the absolute worst.
    The ranking is way too high.
    Do you not review for TFL anymore Sarah?

    Its about time both Mustang and Camaro change their retro look and come up with a fresh look. Its time to get creative and forget the past for once.

    You still can’t see out the damn things but this made me want to at least test drive one. If it could just have the visibility it wouldn’t even be a question as to an ss or the gt.

    My neighbor across the road has a 1971 Camaro that looks like bumblebee. It's yellow and has the 327 V8. Personally I like the new look and the 1969 look.

    Lots of stuff to look at and play with in the interior. That can keep you occupied since visibility to the outside world is seriously compromised. Like driving from the bottom of a high sided bathtub.
