For some people, hating on Mustangs is a whole damn lifestyle. There are more Mustang haters than almost every other car, save one (looking at you, Corvette haters lol). Personally, as someone that graduated high school in 1992, Mustangs will always have a place in my heart. I don't know who the first person was that mated some OG Flowmaster 40 series to a 5 liter, but everyone owes that person a giant THANK YOU! Outside of some exotics, it is possibly the greatest sounding exhaust note of all time lol. Easily recognizable from literally a mile away! Awesome review Sarah!
Corvette haters get fed up with the kids that drive the mustang always wanting to race us and they always come up on the losing end plus they just will not leave you along.
Graduated in '94. I bought a '65 Mustang with a blown 170 cu inch straight six. I dropped an '80s 302 small block into it, and had some pipes bent for 2-chamber Flowmasters. Didn't go very fast with the stock 3-speed transmission and one-wheel-peel rear diff. But it sounded amazing rolling into high school.
@@Lurker-dk8jk There was literally no better sounding car than a 5.0 in 1992. I'm not even a Mustang fanboy. I've only owned 1. But credit where it is due. I loved that era and I bought a mint low mile 1991 Thunderbird Supercoupe, fully loaded with a rare 5 speed in the year 1999 for like $5k. I actually wanted one of those just to be different from the Mustang guys but when they were new they weren't cheap and I couldn't afford it. I still miss that car even though it was just a 3.8L V6 but it had an Eaton M90 supercharger from the factory and with a few tweaks it gave you 350 torque which was more than a stock Mustang. But it NEVER sounded anything like a Foxbody and too heavy so it was slower than the Mustang too lol.
Inexcusable having sharp metal in a place that can cause cuts. Shows that Ford do not care about customers and penny pinch everywhere. I owned a Ford for 17 years in Australia and will never own another.
Really amazed (and pleased) to see a car like this in todays market. Seems that Ford really decided to go with the driver experience. As you say, end of an era. All these 'last' models are going to be so sought after in years to come.
I have a sneaking suspicion that those screens are going to look extremely dated within a year or 2 and they will make them more classic or better integrated on a new model.
6:00 I bet Sarah can "Give it the Beans" and keep this Mustang from going sideways into the desert, running over people, or hopping a curb... unlike most Mustang drivers on the internet. With Launch Control 9:03 HOLY SHEEET was that braking short!
It is sad especially since the used car market will appreciate in value due to no new incoming cars to replace the old, and all we will be left with are bs EVs thanks to California and the lunatic dictator democrats

If I didn't know better, I'd swear Sarah doesn't even use a clutch to change gears -- just a flick of her perfectly manicured finger at the exact right moment. Smooooooth.
By far the greatest 2024 Mustang review yet! I just got the same car except atlas blue and 10 speed. The new or revised shifting software in the 10 speed took away all the clunky mess and firm shifts of my 18 gt 10 speed. The car as a whole is much improved
The way you shift! That is just awesome! Impressive. That's a super cool car! I have owned many over the years and I'm so glad Ford is paying attention to what's important.
Not a big fan of the exterior color but I really like the latest design. Would look great in British Racing Green, aka, “Bullitt” Green. Another review that offers so much more info of interest for car enthusiasts compared to the other reviews out there, and certainly more entertaining. Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍

It's basically just the Tech that stands out, and the induction sound from the dual throttle bodies.. which i'm sure you can find a way to swap onto an earlier Coyote.
I've never been a mustang fan but this is a nice car!! I always thought the Mustangs have always sounded fantastic even back in the late 80s and early 90s
Sarah, from 15 and newer, the irs is a super 8.8. That rear is shared with trucks in live axle config. It has 34 spline axles instead of 31. The standard ratio of 3:15 has a carrier that won't except lower ratios. I bought a center section with a 3:55 for my current project. All of the 15 and newer units are posies. Nice review. :)

Thanks, Sarah. enjoyed this review. As a current owner of an S550 GT, the new model interior update loses the homage to the original twin dash. But, the graphics on this are sick. Overall, it's a better quality interior. Sarah, you got to review the DarkHorse soon, I bet you're gonna love it more.
I am really amazed people are excited about some car pictures on the dash. This would have had "wow" factor 20 years ago. Now, given all the technology we have in our lives, it just seems worthless and w/o value. The interior looks strange with the gargantuan screens. I would much rather have the S550 interior with a more tasteful information screen. After seeing it a couple of times, what is seeing a picture of a mustang on the screen going to do for you?
@kevindepew8193 I get it, Kevin. All car manufacturers are doing this now & after 2030, new cars will be electric only. So, buy your dream car now & keep it for life. I'm keeping my 2022 Mustang GT.
Love your review, Sarah! As an owner of a 2016 GT with the addition of the Ford Performance Pack 3 upgrade, it allowed the throttle response to be much quicker than stock and upped the HP to almost S650 level. I like it! I'm a bit wary of the magical robotic sprayed on cylinder liner...so glad mine doesn't have it.
