I have always viewed the holy trinity like water. Water has three states: Solid (Ice), liquid (water), and gas (water vapor). They are all the same, but not - just in different states. Even creation speaks to his existence.
Another good example is the U.S. Government. The Legislative Branch is not the Executive Branch and Judicial Branch. And the Executive Branch is not the Judicial Branch. But all three of them are the U.S. Government.
People like to use the water analogy but water cannot be a solid, liquid, and gas all at once, a much better way of looking at it would be to view God as fire. The father is the flame, Jesus is the light, and the Holy Spirit is the heat. They are one.

Fire would be a better analogy for Satan. Water puts out fire, the fire ceases to exist and not a single molecule of the water is destroyed. Your body also needs water to survive. This topic reminds me of a conversation I had with a non-Christian friend. He claimed that Jesus was not God because he prayed. " If he was God he wouldn't pray to himself. " I explained that was God the son ( physical body) communicating with God the Father ( intellectual mind). He responded by saying that was nonsense and the Trinity is rubbish. Wow ! Thanks for your replies. I really didn't think anyone would even read my comment. I definitely didn't think anyone would take time to give a response. It's really hard to explain the Trinity in one brief comment. My goal was to show an example of the mind and body connection. Some people say the Trinity is like the three states of water: solid, liquid, gas. And I've heard an egg used as an example. The shell, whites, and yolks are all separate parts of the same egg. But my favorite example is a human being. Made in the image of God. God is Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Humans are body, soul, and spirit. Psychology states that we have the Id , Ego, and Super Ego. Each of these are related to the aspects of the human trinity. The I'd is the pleasure response to stimuli. This is experienced by the physical body. The Ego is what is seen by others, what you reveal about yourself. This is done by what we say, but also by our emotional reactions. This is the spirit part of our make up. The Super Ego is the true, inner core of who we are. This is what makes each of us unique and special. This part is your Soul, your mind. I'm talking about your conscious mind, not the physical brain. So , we can see: Id/body/Jesus Ego/emotion/Holy Spirit Super Ego/mind/God the Father The more we learn the more we can see God all around us. Even in something as common and mundane as getting hungry.

The belief in God as a Holy Trinity is well established in many Christian denominations. I believe the Bible backs it up throughout the many books in it. God sent His Son, who originated from God's very Being, so He could be the Supreme Sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Imagine how many sins that means! Only God's Son could take those on after living a perfect life! But, I do not think it matters that some people stumble with this explanation, UNLESS you devalue Jesus when you denounce the Trinity. Jesus claimed to be God. C.S. Lewis wrote that when He did that, then there must be three explanations that have to be considered. 1. He was not God, and He was crazy to think and claim that He was. 2. He was lying, therefore he was really evil to claim it. 3. He was exactly who he said He was - God Incarnate in a man's body. Many religions think He was only a prophet, and many think he was a good man. But you can't be a good man and claim to be God. So choose which to believe. I choose that Jesus was and IS the Son of God. The Holy Spirit is the part of him that is an ethereal connection between Them. We probably have too few words to describe the Holy Spirit correctly or succinctly. I would not even attempt it. The Trinity explains this so well. I have no problem with what others choose to believe. I fear for anyone that leaves Jesus out of their beliefs; for then, they are rejecting God Himself. But the Holy Spirit is probably who we have the most contact with - in our prayers, in our daily lives, and in our hearts. I could be wrong about how I am trying to put this into words. But it makes perfect sense to me. Spend time reading the Bible verses. Read "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. Great book. It has brought many to Christ!
God literally says to the disciples this is my son. The Bible said it is so simple a child can understand. Adults like to overcomplicate things because we want to feel powerful in what we discover. In the Bible I believe in Revelation. It also states that he has bronze feet. Bronze means justice as well. His feet walk in the feet of Justice because he walks the way of God. I know Jesus prayed to the father, and he also mentioned that when he departs he is going to send a helper (the enabler/holy Spirit) when he was talking to his disciples. But I do believe in the Trinity. The way this video drew that diagram of the Trinity really made it more understandable. And with what I just said I noticed that picture of the Trinity helped make more sense to me. Thank you, this diagram will be a big help when I try to explain it to my kids
From what I know of energy ("entities"), it has to split in 3 for every dimension it travels lower in density because a single energy/entity moving into a denser form cannot be sustained within a singular lower dimensional vessel. The power of it would overwhelm the vessel & self-destruct - think like spontaneous combustion. Splitting into 3 spreads the power evenly, each with their own characterists that are a part of the original higher energy/entity. Imagine a pyramid of made of lights; starting with a single light (original entity/energy), the next lower layer(dimension) splits into 3 lights (to use this video's phrasing: father, son, & holy spirit). For every lower layer (dimension), each light is split into 3. Continue applying that math until you reach the lowest, densest layer (dimension) & that is where we are. For most, it is too hard to even conceive of the very top, original energy/entity, let alone understand that is one's own origin. We are all a spark of that original energy/entity, making us all connected through the original one but with our own characteristics. Providing that variety of experiences that our energy (souls) share with each other through the original energy/entity. When we tap into that understanding, we are able to feel the original energy/entity. The unwavering love of the original energy/entity can truly be overwhelmingly beautiful & healing, I genuinely hope everyone gets to experience it at some point in this dense lifetime.

In our world, time flows as a sequence of change. One thousand years can depict one generations life and death followed by another and another. In God's relative time, our world has happened at a blink of an eye. So if our world exist at various points but all at one instantaneous blink of an eye, The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit all exist at the same time in God's Realm. For how can Jesus tell the criminal that was crucified with him that today you will be with me in paradise and yet it is said that he will descend in hell and the third day rise again. Or perhaps the paradise Jesus refers to is Abraham's boussum which is in hell but not where the demons dwell. It is because when you die, there is no time. Today is now in the after life.
But you have a major problem with the trinity. If God is eternal and is the alpha and omega then he had a begining. God is eternal with no begining and no end. It is Jesus who is the alpha and omega as he had a begining and was there at the begining of creation, he will be there at the end of creation also. This factor shows clearly the Father is greater than the Son as Christ stated, there is no trinity, The Father is supreme and Jesus will rule in the Fathers name.

The Father and the Son are in agreement is why "My Father and I are one"..... we are living here but not of the world and we are ignited when we and another brother/sister agree about the truth. Now if The LORD, in Isaiah, says " I shall share my Glroy with none else", how can Jesus share glory with the Father? It's simple... The Son is One in will and essence with God, He shares the fulness of the deity with the Father, as it is written in Hebrews 1.

It's really hard to explain the Trinity in one brief comment.
My goal was to show an example of the mind and body connection.
Some people say the Trinity is like the three states of water: solid, liquid, gas.
And I've heard an egg used as an example. The shell, whites, and yolks are all separate parts of the same egg.
But my favorite example is a human being. Made in the image of God. God is Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Humans are body, soul, and spirit.
Psychology states that we have the Id , Ego, and Super Ego. Each of these are related to the aspects of the human trinity.
The I'd is the pleasure response to stimuli. This is experienced by the physical body.
The Ego is what is seen by others, what you reveal about yourself. This is done by what we say, but also by our emotional reactions. This is the spirit part of our make up.
The Super Ego is the true, inner core of who we are. This is what makes each of us unique and special. This part is your Soul, your mind. I'm talking about your conscious mind, not the physical brain.
So , we can see:
Id/body/Jesus
Ego/emotion/Holy Spirit
Super Ego/mind/God the Father
The more we learn the more we can see God all around us. Even in something as common and mundane as getting hungry.

The belief in God as a Holy Trinity is well established in many Christian denominations. I believe the Bible backs it up throughout the many books in it. God sent His Son, who originated from God's very Being, so He could be the Supreme Sacrifice for the sins of mankind.
Imagine how many sins that means!
Only God's Son could take those on after living a perfect life!
But, I do not think it matters that some people stumble with this explanation, UNLESS you devalue Jesus when you denounce the Trinity.
Jesus claimed to be God. C.S. Lewis wrote that when He did that, then there must be three explanations that have to be considered.
1. He was not God, and He was crazy to think and claim that He was.
2. He was lying, therefore he was really evil to claim it.
3. He was exactly who he said He was - God Incarnate in a man's body.
Many religions think He was only a prophet, and many think he was a good man. But you can't be a good man and claim to be God.
So choose which to believe.
I choose that Jesus was and IS the Son of God.
The Holy Spirit is the part of him that is an ethereal connection between Them. We probably have too few words to describe the Holy Spirit correctly or succinctly. I would not even attempt it.
The Trinity explains this so well. I have no problem with what others choose to believe. I fear for anyone that leaves Jesus out of their beliefs; for then, they are rejecting God Himself. But the Holy Spirit is probably who we have the most contact with - in our prayers, in our daily lives, and in our hearts.
I could be wrong about how I am trying to put this into words. But it makes perfect sense to me.

Jesus is the anti venom. He's the solution to the snake. The Israelites and Moses looked up to justice. The bronze represents Jesus. sow scriptures together and you will see. Not from your own understanding though. Go to God and he will show you, but through Jesus not through you alone.

You can’t have 2 necessary existences. This refutes Hinduism and Trinity. This is because if there is a necessary existence it is impossible to be different from anything else that is necessary. Anything differentiating a necessary existence from an other necessary existence implies contingency(they could of been another way) on either of those entities or it means both of them are not necessary. I know Jesus prayed to the father, and he also mentioned that when he departs he is going to send a helper (the enabler/holy Spirit) when he was talking to his disciples. But I do believe in the Trinity. The way this video drew that diagram of the Trinity really made it more understandable. If God is eternal and is the alpha and omega then he had a begining. God is eternal with no begining and no end. It is Jesus who is the alpha and omega as he had a begining and was there at the begining of creation, he will be there at the end of creation also.
This factor shows clearly the Father is greater than the Son as Christ stated, there is no trinity, The Father is supreme and Jesus will rule in the Fathers name.

Now if The LORD, in Isaiah, says " I shall share my Glroy with none else", how can Jesus share glory with the Father? It's simple... The Son is One in will and essence with God, He shares the fulness of the deity with the Father, as it is written in Hebrews 1.
