i know with other instruments, you can growl into it and it creates multiphonics. I know oboe can do it by changing their embouchure and not covering key holes but it would be cool to hear how growling works
This is actually very telling! Have you ever heard of throat tuning? It's a concept that flutist, Robert Dick has really championed I think the voice effects actually pin point when your throat, pitch and subsequent overtones are working optimally. It might be fun to see if you could get Moaning Mertle to sound like Adele.
