i think it’s funny how absolutely hit or miss the chao world is. i’ve lost so much time of my life plying with those wiggly little babies and for some people, it just never interested them. and there’s no gray area for people! usually you’re either obsessed or you don’t really care and i think that’s so funny
Ironically with the first hedgehog fight if you barely tap the summersault button and hold still your hitbox will be active and all you gotta do is wait for either Sonic or shadow to run into you and they will take damage
I love the attention to detail man of making yourself a character in the beginning with their intro backstory. Makes it a way more entertaining “intro” than most people with 25x your subscribers. You are clearly passionate and a true fan. Good luck to you!
Good video, glad to see Cosmic Wall deservedly in S Tier. Honestly nothing too controversial. Now for the bad news: You forgot the stages that were exclusive to the 2-player versus mode. It was paid DLC for every version except the GameCube version, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. And the racing minigame courses. And the boss rush mode. And you did mention the Chao Garden, but I don’t know if that included Chao Race/Karate.

4:41 I used to think it was but actually ever since i discovered u don't need to stay hidden under the shadows to get the beetle off ur ass and realized the stage had a more circular structure coupled with the lack of doors, making it way easier to navigate, it got way up in my ranking of the stages, over Death Chamber.
Originally when sega were developing sa2 they wer just planning it to be sonic, knuckles and eggman being playable and no one else, and honestly you can tell in the final product since it feels like they put more time into their stages specifically
hey spannondorf if you want check out SA mod loader with the better radar mod, really makes the hunting levels easier, also extended chao garden because it color codes the chao stats, adds in more stuff and in general makes it very fun EDIT: just saw that better radar mod sorry, show us your chao garden too!
I personally like mad space a lot. I thought the backwards hints were creative and the multiple planets is also a cool concept. Its just the execution is LACKING. Plus the music is in 7/8 which is really cool from a musicians perspective. I'd put it in C Ps. Once I realized u could clip out of knuckles cannon core I NEVER played thru his actual level again. It might as well not exist lmao
Well my problem with the level wasn't related to the air necklace. Aquatic Mine is my favorite treasure hunting level with or without it. Getting the air isn't a problem besides how it locks your controls for a while. The time they give you to go through the tunnels is too strict to be fun, and that makes it the worst part of the level to me.
Why in the world does he refuse to even remotely explain what the issue with the car levels are in this game like I get how he just kinda glazes over the eggman showdowns and tails showdowns for being relatively simplistic but what it is wrong with the car levels?
The car levels are uninspired and control horribly. Both of them feel like pointless filler, and they aren't even visually interesting to hide this fact. I'd be hard pressed to find one person who would ever say, "I want to play Sonic Adventure 2 to play the car level. It was my favorite part." I talked about the mech fights in the first video. Basically, they're mash to win with the only difference being a big laser in the 2nd fight. I just skipped over all the repeated content in this video.

I think they designed the Eggman levels of the Mech parts first then went back for Tails to fit into the story and put less effort into them.
