Shooting levels are great what are you tripping?

City Escape does teach you how to play the game what the hell is wrong with you? Are you illiterate?

I've never once had problems with either light dash or homing attack in this game tbh sounds like a skill issue.

I always found it funny that even though Team Dark is usually harder than Team Sonic, the ending section for Mystic Mansion and Egg Fleet are actually easier than the ones in Team Sonic.

I would like to make a statement that part of the fun of this game is thinking on the fly how to deal with enemies, as far as combat goes in Sonic games this game is second only to Frontiers, which just takes elements from other combat focused games anyway. With that said, I feel the enemy rushes are among the more fun bosses in this game. Thinking on the fly about how to deal with each wave of enemies, its pretty fun IMO

You've probably figured this out by now but you're not supposed to spam the b button to build speed on rails, you hold it. That's how you're supposed to get past the final rail cannon section on the final stage

I loved everything about this game. Light hatred, fun, creative, diverse dialog, multiplayer6, team blast and THE BEST voice actors. Grand metropolis is my favorite level and music in sonic

Originally when sega were developing sa2 they wer just planning it to be sonic, knuckles and eggman being playable and no one else, and honestly you can tell in the final product since it feels like they put more time into their stages specifically

I know this video is nearly 4 years old, but most of the gameplay problems your talking about DONT seem to be present on the GameCube version! (I havent played on ps2 yet) I do love the video regardless!

Honestly Rail Canyon rose in appeal for me. Also, i think the rail mechanics are far more functional in the GameCube version and ive come to have a lot of fun in these levels. Most levels are still better, but its far better than any of the casino levels for me personally.

Idk if you’ve been told between the 4 years this video dropped, but your supposed to hold the X button, or whatever button you press while on rails, instead of mashing it. You’ll most definitely go faster on the last laser in Final Fortress and beat it before it even fires

note to final fortress: only the legendary good Sonic heroes players can go through lazer canion's final big lazer without needing to change to the flight and wait it to finish, ye done it multiple times 2nd note: i see some differences between the version being rewieved and the ps2 version i own, just thought i'd mention this

Egg fleet is my favorite one of all time, but not because of gameplay or gimmicks, it's only because of the dynamic shot every team gets on the stage opening cutscene

The crocodile chase scene everytime I play team sonic or team dark the crocodile 🐊 would always would bite my rings and I fall off the stage and lost a life I wanted to have infinite lives for beginner.

You can get through the final rail in Final Fortress. Instead of spamming the accelerate button for grinding, you just have to hold it down where you’ll reach max speed to zip past the giant laser

Loved the list. Personally Egg Fleet is my favorite stage, but I think your placement for it is understandable. I've found out from seeing Cyberman's playthrough of the game that the fastest strategy for the Egg Albatross is actually to knock the bottom plane part while getting a power level and then stand in place. He will come towards you and then you just span fire dunk on him. You need to time it, but he'll be done very quickly. I know you can totally get an A-rank with the homing attack strategy, but the fire dunk strategy is crazy quick. You can totally outrun the laser in Final Fortress, I didn't even know you could avoid it with flight formation. Go to speed formation and hold grind until you're done!

In the final fortress rail segment just hold the grind button at the end to beat the laser.

18:10 you have to hold X for this part, holding X actuallly speeds you up more than spamming it. of course the safer option is going to fly type and avoiding it, but holding X almost always makes you avoid it, which is what SEGA intended for this in the first place @Spannondorf

4:41 I used to think it was but actually ever since i discovered u don't need to stay hidden under the shadows to get the beetle off ur ass and realized the stage had a more circular structure coupled with the lack of doors, making it way easier to navigate, it got way up in my ranking of the stages, over Death Chamber.

The boss fights music is amazing and you meant to use the fly character in the egg emperor not the power character

It saying Sonic Heroes doesn’t have its problems but more than one issue you say you have towards seem be skill issues… Like homing attacks, rail grinding, and dashing.

I hope you try this Pokémon rouge-like again!
