    I’m so proud to be related to someone who can use the term “roto-moulded polypropylene plastic” in a sentence! 😎

    Another advantage to the Macerator's small diameter hose is that you have the option to dump into a toilet at home or anywhere!

    The closeup would be nice to see during the body if the video as you're talking about it. Thanks for the great content.

    I like ours. I had to re-work the PO's PVC duct-ing, but so far so good. We use "cheap" TP and forbid baby-wipes, etc. in the bathroom. Cleanup is straight forward. Agree to run clean water after the initial empty and cycle again. Would recommend them. Jim's system looks sound.

    Great video! I will at some point be adding this improvement to my '73 GMC Sequoia, I think it currently has the thermasand (sp). I would appreciate a video on generators, my original twin cylinder 4000 watt Onan was "borrowed" by some "friends" and never seen again and I'd be curious to know what I can replace it. I'd definitely prefer another Onan but something a little more powerful as with the 4000 I could only run one roof ac unit at a time.

    I would like to see a video about the dash heat and the HVAC control that I couldn't find a new replacement for.

      Can do....stay tuned. GM never figured some freak would try and make that vacuum activated system work after 45 years!

    Great videos all though I have trying to find one of people that really know what they doing like you show a complete Motor and front end removal and reinstall and removing and installing a new roof air. All the dos and don't would be welcome of course.

    Hello. Wasn't the Macerator a Factory option? The original design pumped the contents through the exhaust pipe while you were driving at highway speeds.

      The "Thermasand" was fitted to 1973 models.....until the EPA figured out what they were doing! Nothing after that......we can't burn our poop out of the exhaust system........ Thanks for the question.

      @@motorhomerehabranch "You have purchased one of the most useful, time saving, and carefully engineered products in the recreation field. The Thermasan system offers you independence from routine evacuation of you holding tank". "Thermasan is a unique device that utilizes the heretofore unused heat of the exhaust system to destroy waste in your recreational vehicle". Works at 40 mph (45 mph when its cold out) (Dumping the holding tank is recommended annually to remove left over solids).

    Hmm, The GMCs only had a Black Tank, and no Grey Tank?
    So used to modern RVs where after dumping the black you dump the grey to "flush" the hose.

    • @motorhomerehabranch
      @motorhomerehabranch  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Transmodes use the two tank system, the GM floor plan coaches use a standardized single tank for gray and black which is what I would recommend to change to if you have a two tank system. Good subject for a video! Thank you!

    What was the name of the system that would burn the contents?
