So as I'm uploading this, I see that there is a 2nd version with triggers for the front screen and a flip up latch to hold the system as well. Also it's less expensive then version 1 that I have in this video.
I ordered that and it's back ordered so I'll have to make another video I bet.
Sorry for the epic belly reveal. I recorded right after waking up and finding the package at my door. Also little note I paid $60 for this not $30 dollars. I might have been thinking of another product. I seriously spent hours researching and reading reviews and this I just bought 2 grips anyway. 1 for buttons and another for comfort.
Can’t believe I just found your video, I wish i found it earlier today! Broke a clip on my grip trying to get my vita out that made it super loose while in the attachment unfortunately. Great video! Hopefully more people find it to avoid my mistake!

Honestly same. But I was compelled to make a video when I figured out how to properly remove this from my Vita. Seems no other reviewer took the time to attempt reading the directions just because they're in Japanese. With these getting more expensive I'm happy to add more information on them to what's out there so people don't feel miss out on an accessory they might really enjoy.

Nice I recently ordered one and was hearing rumors. I recommend also buying a case that supports this grip, so you dont have to remove it everytime.
I've kept my eye on that case but it's never come back instock. i gave up after a while
The music was very loud and annoying tbh, but thanks a lot for the video. Like others said in the comments I was very skeptical of buying this because other reviewers said and showed that it could really damage your ps vita. I really want it to buy the Hori grip but it’s just insanely expensive these days. Not sure yet if I will buy this one but I’m now more open to it.
Yeah the music was a bit of a failure on my part. I just discovered the YT music library and didn't discover how to turn down music in my editing software yet. LOL.
That HORI grip is like the holy grail of Vita accessories at this point. I also later found the "L2/R2 Button [Front and Back Touch Screen] Grip Cover for PS Vita PCH-2000" on Amazon. It has a hinge and front touch screen triggers. Kind of unwieldy but avoids the clip in system entirely.

i think its harder to get the grips on the vita without scratching it. i got a light nick on the corner of my (once mint condition) blue vita, its so minor that i don't sweat it too much. but ppl need to beware of these grips, they do damage the vita when putting them on
Yeah it's still very possible to ding your vita with this even following the instructions. They later made a version with front L2 R2 buttons and a hinge but it covers the top corners of the screen.
@@GuyManley your method of taking it off does work though it was very helpful btw, taking it off now is so easy after watching. but yeah putting it on is problematic. i didn't see the newer model ill have to look that up

It's useful for remote play games on ps4 and ps one classic games. There is a newer version that also has front touch screen lever style shoulder buttons and back shoulder buttons. I believe i posted it in another reply on this video's comment.
Scratched mine despite the video x_x I don't think removing it damaged it though I think putting it into the grip in the first place did. Bleh.
Cant get these for cheap anymore If you can find them unless you are willing to wait a month or more for it to be shipped from china.
That is true, Vita 2000 version is out of stock at play-asia. Amazon wants at least 60 now. 😥
@@GuyManley i just bought one on amazon for 33 dolars for my vita 2000 with free shipping. Im thinking of getting another one for a ps vita phat.
Edit: Btw thanks, i had no idea on how to take this grip off. Does addint a piece of tape helps to prevent any damage?
Never tried adding tape. It may help. But as long as you remove it the proper way you should be ok.
idk why u would even want these.. i rather have a scratch free vita than some buttons im only gonna use in like 2 games
