Thank you much for this video. It made me realize that the WK-1250 was worth getting. After working with it for a week, I discovered it has some synthesizer features that some of my professional instruments don't have. The important feature is that one can select different samples for both oscillators. So if you want to layer, the E.Piano with E.Piano 2 with different velocity levels you can. The Korg TR-Rack and the Yamaha RM1x can't do that, the samples in 2 oscillators patches are locked together. It's DX7 piano sample is actually better than on the Yamaha EX5.
Se parece tanto a mi primer CTK que me está entrando nostalgia (lo envié a Rumanía para la hija de una amiga). Aúnque sea de calidad "inferior" Casio siempre tendrá un hueco en mi corazón ...
I have the CTK-601, which has to be the little brother to the WK-1250! The 601 only has 61 keys, and a weird soft button pitch bend instead of a proper wheel, but it has pretty much the exact same sound set, drum patterns, and synth section as this does.
I've seen these a couple of times on the local Facebook marketplace. I wondered what they sounded like. I still have my Casio MZ-2000, so not everything old is obsolete.. (Thank goodness ;) )
I am tempted to get this model but at the same time my other keyboards prevent me from doing so as I have no room. I wonder if there is the same keyboard but in a 61 key form factor as the only good casio of mines the ctk651
@@gearfacts I've just had a look elsewhere and it seems to be the same keyboard. same demos as well. pretty good sound quality though which is why I feel it should replace my aging yamaha psr 8000 I have had for a year but its starting to show its age
Sadly, I never got to enjoy this one. I had the keyboard but it was dead due to wrong power supply. I finally fixed the blow power transistor and then ended up selling the board lol. But for the brief 5 minutes I did hear it, it was nice sounding. The LCD on mine was also cracked so there was that.
Ok yeah I would love this keyboard. It has the old nostalgic sounds but also more advanced features? Yeah I will probably try to get one of these

Yep I agree with that. This keyboard has amazing endurance and is very versatile and usable today.

Yeah many of the 61 key models seems to have a 76 key partner.

MZ2000 = "sweet-as", as they say in New Zealand

I scored a WK1200 in superb condition last night. Doesn't look any different to the 1250, but we'll see. Review coming soon.

There's always a way to fix these things eh!
Hey, GF. Just thought I inform you that this keyboard actually has 73 keys, not 76.
Really? huh! I should've take the time to count them :/
