No, they’re getting good press whilst ignoring the fundamental issues with their establishment. Their treatment of staff has been awful, as has the ignorance towards serious issues with racism etc on campus. This does not paint a full picture of the university, unfortunately.
I wish I stayed this motivated throughout the whole day!!

I usually find that if I watch one of Ruby's videos (or a similar channel) in the middle of the day (or if I'm in a slump), it re-inspires me to be more productive in the afternoon! :)

Alice L I live in the countryside. I live right across the street from a massive green forest. :) But the hues/ tones are SO different of the trees in England. I visited England last Fall and the plant life is....neon green lol! I’ve never seen a place so green in my life. Also my reference to "somewhere that's green" is not literal. It's in reference to a theatre tune. :)

I love studying after exams, I feel way more motivated to study without the anxiety of examination. And I learn way faster: exams make sometimes things less beautiful that they actually are. I love learning, I just hate being obsessed with studying because I have to be evaluated :c

Anyone else scared to make notes digitally because they feel like they'd get easily distracted?
me! pen and paper for me always hahah
It's actually not as distracting as you think it would be, just don't install any social media or other apps that are distracting. I've been taking digital notes for the past year and it really works for me!
I think using diferrent devices for different things helps. For example I use laptop for work and phone or ipad for relax
@Tonika Personally, I uninstalled the TH-cam app on my iPad (which I use for school/reading books/work) so if I actually need to watch an educational video I'll just use the browser but because it's a bit of a hassle I won't be tempted to procrastinate :)
@@milenasavova3042 Exactly! I only keep apps that I actually use for studying on my iPad and treat it as a "work" device, so no Netflix etc. Just takes a bit of self-control :)

you shouldn’t be grateful to your tutor giving you feedback it’s literally his job and you spend over 9 grand a year on your course. Exeter uni are using you as PR for their rip off degree.
lol completely degree he wasn't "giving up his time" he was doing his job for pay! You should expect this from every uni. This was embarrassing and scripted af
Just because its their job and they are paid for it, doesn't mean you can't be grateful. It's just basic manners.
I'm a university teacher and 100% agree. This isn't just an Exeter university thing. We're supposed to be available to talk about essay feedback if a student asks for it.

I'm in the middle of writing my thesis and had an online open-book resit today which was far too long for the time we were given so I'm a bit upset about that :/ luckily I will probably be allowed to keep working at my thesis research organisation for july and august so thats a good thing!
