I've had the great pleasure to have seen what Magic could do on the court since he started to show up in sport highlight reels when he was a high school junior. One of the best half games of basketball I've ever watched is when Central Michigan decided they were going to run on the Spartans. Judd Heathcote ran set offensive plays, but in this game, Magic wasn't having any of that. Central started to fast break, and MSU retaliated with a full court attack, faster than anything CMU could muster. Magic showed us what LA was going to be looking like in three years when Magic went pro. No look passes, full court feeds, his forwards cutting to the basket at full speed and Magic delivering pin point passes. CMU was burnt out before half time and slowed the pace of the game way down.
