They are seriously the bees knees! when i went to namm in 2019 everyone kept talking about the ceres. it was the talk on the streets for all the guitar players around. had to wait till the next year to try it out and i was just blown away! That setup on camera is now my main rig :D
Wow, that sounds AWESOME! 🤩🤘 Was nice to see this used for more of a hard rock tone, I know it does modern metal very well but this is now a must have for me 🔥
@@jvahausstudios1276 well I messed with it for about 30 minutes and it didn't sound better than my EVH 50W stealth, so I didn't really have a reason to use it I guess. For $400 though I probably should do something with it or sell it off.
Yes! So this one has a built in looper and u see me use it for a second at the end, but a video using it on a looper most people own will def be on the list!
Man this pedal slays! I recently got an eq pedal which took the flexibility of my Ceres to new heights using it in front of my amp. I already thought the base sound was awesome, but for those on the fence with how it sounds I highly recommend pairing it with an eq pedal as well to fine tune it.
@@LOLOLOL1ish oof, so many options! I've heard KSR came out with the Eros recently which is their own tackle at an eq. I personally own a programmable Free The Tone EQ which is pretty pricey, but got $57 off from a Holiday discount on Rogue Guitar Shop with zero tax and free shipping. The Source Audio EQ 2 is another similar programmable eq pedal which is neat if you don't mind it being completely digital. If you don't care about recalling presets then you can't go wrong with a simple BOSS GE-7.
I’ve been using the return section on my Hughes and Kettner for the power amp with this pedal. I haven’t tried going straight in with the Ceres. I also have the Eros. I’m gonna give that a try to see if it makes it sound even better. I was noticing that I couldn’t turn up the level on my Ceres past 9 o’ clock without it being too much input in my interface and computer. Hope I can get it to work better!
Excellent video, very informative, do you think this pedal could be good to play Tool? since getting a Diezel VH4 or the Diezel VH4 preamp is not easy in my country, I am considering this pedal as an alternative, will you get a sound like Adam Jones with this pedal? What do you think? Thanks for your advice!
you should have said what kind of tone you were gonna dial in in the title. The demo song at the end helped to contextualize the tone you were going for.
THAT!!!..Is the demo I've been waiting for!!! Great job, I feel confident purchasing the CERES and Not feeling to Lost. Amazing playing..Your a True Rock Hero!! cheers and more Coffee!!

hi, i know that the ceres has a remote control, but could you explain how you connected it so that with a single press of the footswitch you change the channel to the ceres and activate the effects at the same time? thanks a lot!
Yes you can. The Eros is like an overdrive. You can dial back the gain on the Ceres and turn up the Eros gain all the way while having the Eros volume at noon. It gives you a tight metal tone. You will want a noise gate though. I’d have a noise gate on everything but just saying since it’s a lot of gain and whatnot. They’re made for each other though.
Still no where near as good as the real thing... I dunno why but this pedal sounds so trebley and shrill and walks a very fine line of actual usability to me. It sounds and feels great though when you finally get used to the treble and dial it together.
I own both pedals and you can dial back the highs and make it less shrilly. This pedal does it all and I’ve tried a lot of shit. Obviously the real amp is going to be better but this is an amazing preamp pedal.
Coming back to this vid for probably the 30th time for no other reason than when I’m not using my Ceres, I love listening to other people use theirs.
The guy explaining everything is doing a great job!!! Love the enthusiasm
Hell yeah! Thank Jack! we got more coming at ya! sub to KSR Amplification and Widowmaker Studios to keep updated with our videos :D
I like my Ceres so much I just got the Vesta. On the way
Man I love your playing style.
Just picked up the Ceres and the Eros from The Axe Palace this week. Love em both!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

I own one theses just let me tell you it is worth it!! Rocker of a pedal it can do everything from 80s hair to modern metal tones very versatile pedal
Mine just came in the teal blood splatter custom color on the black is so beautiful.
I run a Seymour Duncan 805 through the clean channel and it sounds great. Adds a bit of flavor and EQ to that crystal clear Ceres clean
Thank you very much for your video. I finally decided to buy the pedal and I already have it in my hands. The pedal is too good.
Just received the CERES pedal and WOW is all I can say. Awesome customer service too!!
Hi. The pedal came with box?
