Hummingbird Nectar Recipe

1 part refined sugar to 4 parts water.
1 cup sugar to 4 cups water.
If you bring your sugar water to a rolling boil, then let it cool. It will help your sugar not ferment so quickly in the feeder. Information from the local zoo site I follow. DO NOT ADD DYE OR FOOD COLORING. It's not good for the birds.
Make sure you clean it out every other day.
