This man may be the best male singer/performer of all time. He has perfect pitch and sings with such conviction and passion with all his songs. He doesnt try and show off his voice by belting 4 octaves and breaking pitch, he just sings with a wonderful natural tone and also paces himself perfectly for how the song needs to be sung. He really was the king.

Just came across this again and one other bit of information you might find interesting is that when Paul Simon heard Elvis perform this at Madison Square Garden in New York City, he basically threw up his hands and said, well it's Elvis's song now!

Yes Simon Garfunkel's version is beautiful the first time we ever heard it we loved it back in the late 60s maybe 68-69 when Elvis covered it in 1970 and Vegas even Simon and Garfunkel was amazed with his coverage I don't believe that they could have sounded any better Elvis can sing and three different, when his voice hadn't quite changed but when it came out of the Army in 60 he have this very nice self by bretto on his balance he can also sing tenor and bass he is the most handsome the most karizmatik the best voice to best Stage presence the best moves even the sexiest sound and talkin voice with a curled up lip when he smiles the total package he was the Entertainer of the 20th century and belongs to for music Halls of Fame for gospel Rock and Roll country rhythm and blues he only had a 22-year career actively from 56 to 77 thirtysomething movies over his career I don't know how many hit records go record platinum records he has he was in for music Halls of Fame country rock and roll gospel rhythm and and blues and there's no other singer that holds this title and he won't be around the next millennium because new audiences going down the rabbit hole learning about Elvis I liked it ended way too soon he will be gone 45 years August 16th 2022 and he was only 42 when he passed away all of us Elvis fans from the 50s grandchildren and great-grandchildren will carry his legacy on he is the king of Music the goat the greatest of all time AKA Elvis Junkie

Shiloh.... At long last.... On “The Shi Show”.... The man... The music... The moment.... Truly THE KING ❤️👑👑👑❤️ Elvis is my all-time music idol & with performances as great as this one, it’s easy to see WHY. He has a HUMONGOUS catalogue of stellar concert performances, especially from the iconic “Comeback” special in 1968 & the truly powerful “Aloha from Hawaii” concert in 1973 (or was it ‘74???). No matter.... Elvis always was, always has been & always WILL BE the King ✊️😉👍

If you want to see sexy black leather badass Elvis watch Trying to get to you or one night with you from his 68 comeback special, if you want to do another comparison check out Elvis version of you lost that love and feeling by the righteous bros. Watch the 1970 performance in Vegas live same show you just watched. It's truly a amazing performance you won't regret.

When Elvis died, at the funeral home they had a viewing room where all of Elvis' family and close friends could come and pay their final condolences to Elvis. They say the Godfather of Soul, James Brown stayed in the room for hours crying his eyes out. They finally had to assist him to leave due to him being so shook up.
Elvis was the Greatest Entertainer the world has ever seen. But he never forgot his humble beginnings of being a Poor White Kid growing up in a predominantly Black neighborhood that gave him the inspiration to one day be who he was.
