@@Red-wo2jt you're wrong, when you have transparency or sound cancelation on that's when it's 20 hours but with those off its 40 hours🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😐start researching before saying anything 😌.
I just bought the new Solo 3 #2 over the Solo Pro. I used this video to help make my decision. I’ve been using beats for years because they’ve left me feeling like I got the most for my money. I’m a mother of 5 that often sleeps in my beats to reduce unpredictable noises that disturb my rest. I didn’t have any trouble with my solo 3 #1’s loosing quality in the cup coverage. I did, however, notice the loosening around the joint that let’s me expand or relax the size of the headband. It was still affective and stayed in the place I wanted it to as I used it so it didn’t become an issue. But I have scars on my ears from where it felt like they were lightly shocking my skin. It almost felt like the pad that sat between the technology and my flesh was made too thin. I ended up with increased migraines and permanent tissue damage I sought medical attention for. The doctors were surprised and couldn’t find another reason. The flesh damage increased when I wore them and decreased when I didn’t. Beats filed a report but I didn’t get much follow up. We did end up with the COVID-19 issues making everything more complicated. I’ll be reaching out to them again to see if I can find progress. But these new earphones feel different from the moment I put them on. They don’t have that feeling like I’m being shocked that the other pair did. Hopefully we’ll find a solution because it was a very expensive lesson. ~Sheeara, Alaska
Hi, thank you for watching my video! I recently was facing similar problem (regarding loud outside noise) and I tried using my Beats as a solution but I realized that was a mistake. Within a few hours, I felt uncomfortable therefor, I wouldn't recommend using them to silence outside noise. Instead, I shopped around and found something called Macks Earplugs on Amazon. I had them for few days now and I think it's a better solution than using the headphones. Hopefully this helps out.
You really skipped a ton of stuff. You didn't even mention transparency mode in the pros, or that you can turn off ANC and still get 40 hours of battery life if you desire. Also the sound signatures are definitely different, the Solo 3 has boosted upper bass and recessed mids that make them sound muddy. The Pros have boosted sub base and boosted mids/upper mids which make the bass better without being boomy and the vocals are more clear because of this.
Hey Josh, I agree with you. I just wanted to make a quick video to showcase a few differences. But based on the comments (including yours) that I received, I will be making another video where I will do an in-depth comparison between the two.
So you compared the durability of a couple of weeks headphones to a couple years ones. And figure it out they move more and the pads are becoming apart.. genius
Yes you can, just go to your settings, click on Bluetooth and you should see “Beats Solo Pro” or “Solo Pro”. Make sure you began the pairing process on the headphones first.
Hey can you use these with Bluetooth and the audio cable at the same time? for example can you connect them to your phone via Bluetooth and to your PS4 via audio cable
So this is how we review things now compare something that's 3 years old that you've been using for the whole 3 years versus something brand new I'm pretty sure if you use the solo pros for that long there would be some ear cup damage
I’m getting the pros because my old solo 3s are doing the same thing yours are doing plus it has sound cancellation on it. I hate when the cushions start to decay and slip off the headphones and it’s been a major problem on them. Even my old solo 2s also did that and the cushion debris was getting all over my ears.
Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts. If the cushions are the only issue, you should consider replacing them. But if you’re in the market for headphones, I would check out the Anker Soundcore Life Q20 or the Q30. I have the Q20 and I personally prefer it over the Beats Solo Pros (especially when it comes to comfort).
The fact you cant connect the solo pro's via a wire without purchasing the lightining to 3.5mm cable from apple for £35 is rhe reason i went for solo3 wirless
That's really annoying, I bet they wouldn't have done that if Apple didn't buy Beats by Dre. Not only do they do this with their headphones but iPhones too.
After trying out a pair of AirPods Pro, In opinion, I prefer the Beats Solo Pro (especially if you listen to music with a lot of bass). If you you’re asking about the original AirPods then I would definitely recommend the Beats Solo Pro.
Hi Josh, I talked about the durability with the Solo Pros because it's easy to notice comparing to the Solo 3's. When you feel both headphones in your hand/head, it's not a far fetched statement. In the video, I also mentioned that while it's more durable than the Solo 3, time will tell how much more durable. In about 2 weeks, I will be making a 1 year ownership update for the Solo Pros.
Solo Pros also had 40 hours with extras features turned off, so Pros get the upper hand

Yes, when ANC (Active Noise Control) is off you can get up to 40 hours a of battery life. When it’s off, you can get up to 22 hours of battery life.
